You're not - it is a bit oblique: you'll recall the Red Baron going on about responsibility for the deaths of some of his finest and blondest friends? This was around the time of some ancient computer game about the battle of Britain, where you could either fly RAF fighters or German bombers; anyway, I needed a name for my German save games and 'Very Blonde' (i.e. a typical friend of the Red Baron) wasn't allowed, so it got contracted to Verblonde; subsequently, my actual nickname (as such) is usually already taken when I'm picking in-game names, so Verblonde has kind of stuck, thirty-odd years later...

 

Ah.. As for games, I really liked the Red Baron, and the Red Baron III, as well. Sadly, it really only looked good on a Voodoo 3dfx card.

Sometimes I can't get the full extent of the comedy, there are parts I don't understand (*), so there are hiatus. It's a bit frustrating, because i love the way that native English speakers in general, and the British in particular, make fun of themselves, it's inimitable. The English language allows for things  that are not feasible in another language and which support the comic effect (e.g. long lists of hilarious epithets).

Yeah it is an over 100 year tradition now. But lets hope that this time around they cant just send enough waves to win the war.

Is this server better ( server performance wise , not skil wise) , or why would they move, lets say from Kazakhstan the ping would be probably pretty bad to the EU server.

WG is already testing cross-server MM, which I translate into "we need to scratch together players world wide because of reasons", so physical location will become pretty moot once the dwindling remnants of the once respectable playerbase will be merged into essentially one server, I guess.

With the split of Lesta and WG the CIS server is no longer a part of WG and WG wanted those on the CIS server to have a chance to get on the EU server especially those from Ukraine @deathsadow.

In our clan most people are over 40 by now. Most have English as their second or third language. I for example have it as my third language.

 

English is very well spoken in the western european countries. In the old soviet block countries english is much more uncommon and I can understand why you make that assumption.
