Ragnar. This is the only one I got :Smile_trollface:

No wait, I have Bourgonne as well, just bought her for SC, but not played yet.

Plymouth, as it's such a beast in ranked.
The 9km radar is surprisingly useful when you can play so aggressive near the caps with the smoke, and playing near the caps is what wins games.
My only regret is not getting it sooner.

Plymouth

I got her too. Belfast shoehorned in to T10.

I do like her, but I'm tired of that hidey-smokey meta atm.

I do prefer that actually, as I feel the meta has generally shifted towards range build spam for cruisers and DDs alike (and BBs were always like that).
Which is why I don't like my Ragnar that much, or most other cruisers that rely on setting fires at 14 kms or more.

To each his own of course, but for me it was an instant favourite.
Had several ranked games today where I just hard carried the games with the huge toolbox that Plymouth offers, and I love the control that this gives me over a battle.

Really enjoying my new Incomparable right now.

And how have you got her set up?

I'm struggling with mine a bit right now.

Well I went range mod and fighter to give me more options when CVs are around.
Otherwise CVs focus you down and you can’t even get close enough to shoot.
My build was confirmed to me when I devstruck a camping Worcester at 20km.

Without a CV I’m always trying to get close then turn out before I’m spotted. Then blap  any broadsides that appear.

I'm thinking of getting one, as well.

I don't have the coupon, but if I wait for it in December I'll then be left with something like 15k steel just sitting around. It's not like it generates an interest...

I'd have enough for another ship (with the coupon) in March or so, but I'd have to wait till June to get her, etc.

Stalingrad and Burger are the most likely to be withdrawn, I assume?

Good tip. I'll take that into account. I've only used her, like, 20 ish times, so still early days.

I'm hovering around 52% W/R atm and really want to keep it that way!

I am starting to bealive that coal ships are better then steel ships

With perhaps a few exceptions (FDR) your not wrong. Many coal ships are way better (e.g Somers Vs Sherman, Smolensk Vs Austin etc etc).

It's early days and I'm struggling in her a bit, but she's got HUGE potential.

I can see her being an absolute monster once I figure her out.

I started a topic about her today asking for tips, and I've had some good ones.

Imma going to go out and mess up someone's day using them :cap_haloween:

What i feel is that old FXP ships rule over them all. Stuff like Jean Bart, Alaska and Smaland are probably still the best tier for tier of their respective styles. But yeah coal also has some pretty epic ones like you mentioned Smolly, Sherman, or the Thunderer and the Georgia also falls into that cathegory. For the Steel ones the proper top dog kind of ships are the Bourgogne and the Stalingrad, the rest of the cruisers and BBs are pretty medicore, the DDs i wont comment , as im not too familiar with them.

What you think is better bourgogne or mecklenburg ?

I would say the Bourgogne, its 380s overmatch 25mm plating, you get MBRB, and you get decent turret angles. The Mecklen has torps, way way better armor, and accuracy , but pretty often you cant use half your firepower as that would make you give full broadside... Bourgogne is just way more comfortable to play.

Probably the CV sadly, as is often the case as they mash their way through ranked and random battles with impunity so that would be the Roosevelt.

As for an actual ship and not a floating airbase, I'd still be tempted by the allure of the Shiki. It just seems to address some of Yamato's failings with superior AA, faster reloading mains and superior dispersion along with better rudder shift. All of which means, at least in my head, that you get all of the Yamato overmatch big caliber potential(I know, even bigger guns) and big salvo memes along with a slightly more ballsy playstyle along with potentially more consistent salvos returns instead of the troll IJN lottery dispersion.

That said I'm not suggesting it's the best of the bunch, just the one I'm drawn to the most right now. I'll also have the good taste not to vote on that I do not have.

Did anyone say Mighty Burger?

Since I bought her I enjoyed every minute playing the thing. Stalingrad FEELS stronger but it's very one dimensional and can't get easily get away from danger.

So there is this dockyard mission where you have to score 170k dmg in a single game, right? I knew what ship was right for the task. Hopped in ranked with my Burghy, 202k ez gg. Just love her, get her asap before they remove her
