Xairen is a german community contributor and streams regularly on twitch.tv.

This voiceover replaces the captain's voices in World of Warships with a german female version.
 

The installation is also possible via the official World of Warships ModStation.

Notes on installation

Extract the ZIP to your Warships folder\bin\[version number]\res_mods\

Caution: the 7-digit version number in the middle of the link adapts with each patch and must therefore be replaced accordingly when unpacking. It's usually the highest number in the folder. In case of doubt, it is the folder with the most recent creation date.

The path has to look like this at the end (apart from the changed version number – for example 4046169):
"World_of_Warships_EU\bin\4046169\res_mods\banks\mods\Xairen"

 

Now start World of Warships (restart if it's already running).
Then select your desired Voice Modpack "Xairen" under Settings->Audio->Voiceover modification.

The sound settings for user interface and voice messages affect the volume of the sounds included in the modpack. It's advisable to set these controls to a custom (higher) volume.

Hinweise zur Installation

Entpacke das ZIP unter Deinem Warships-Ordner\bin\[Versionsnummer]\res_mods\

(Achtung: die 7-stellige Versionsnummer in der Mitte des Links passt sich mit jedem Patch an und muss daher beim Entpacken entsprechend ersetzt werden. In der Regel ist es die höchste Nummer im Ordner. Im Zweifel ist es der Ordner mit dem neuesten Erstellungsdatum.)

Der Pfad muss am Ende so aussehen (bis auf die veränderte Verionsnummer – im Beispiel 4046169):
"World_of_Warships_EU\bin\4046169\res_mods\banks\mods\Xairen"

 

Starte nun World of Warships (ggf. neu, falls es bereits läuft).

Dann Wähle unter Einstellungen>Ton>Gefechtsstimmen-Mod Dein gewünschtes Voice-Modpack "Xairen" aus.

Die Soundeinstellungen für Benutzeroberfläche und Sprachnachrichten wirken sich auf die Lautstärke der im Modpack enthaltenen Sounds aus.
Es empfiehlt sich diese Regler auf maximale Lautstärke zu stellen.
