Another branch of European destroyers will be introduced next year. It will bring in representatives of several European countries, such as Poland, Norway, Turkey, and Greece.

Because there won't enough toxicity with subs , cvs etc in game chat , let's just add Greek and Turkish ships in the same line what could go wrong ? :fish_nerv::Smile_facepalm::Smile_facepalm:

Its not my Opinion, but WGs, so in a good soviet fasion we are not allowed to question that:

We're now sure that submarines in their current state fit well into the World of Warships gameplay and are ready for the next step—their full release in the game.

Why are they pushing subs, they Kill gameplay, if they want them give them their own section so people have the choice to play against them.

I have no idea what your reading level is, but that sentence does not say what you did...

That line translate to: We push this :etc_swear: trough anyways, as we say it is good.

WG also often say that they care for players opinion, and that they like the submarines... which is obviously a lie , also WG has a very similar way of communication to the USSR, and in that glorious contry they forced their view on anyone who dissagree.

I dont know what kind of hidden meaning you found behind the WG statement but the main point is that we will get submarines as contrary to the player feedback they are ready to be released.

It's not even that they push the subs into game, balance be damned. It's their game and they can do whatever they like with it. It's all the lies about silent majority, listening to the playerbase, etc.

That is still not even close to what you claimed I asked for...

wanted to say thank you for bringing in subs to early access.

i was looking for a reason not to renew my premium , and its served up on a plate right here.

so my last meaningful actions will be attending the HMS Belfast day and buying the new British T10 BB

as for the rest there is a couple of things i was oh thats good but mostly 'meh'

So USSR submarine tech tree line will be added in spring 2023. No info on Japanese submarine tech tree unless I have missed it.

What I am interested in, is the following: are the premium submarines from the respective nations to be expected before we get the tech tree branches from these nations, i.e. are we going to get the s189 and/or I-56 subs this year?

I know I will probably not get an answer, but doesn't hurt to try.

How can a company be so out of touch, not just with its playerbase but its own development team?

Submarines are in no state for early access ... Wargaming is throwing massive changes around just to see if something may work. But instead everything fails to make the class fit in any way, shape or form.

Changes we had just these past couple of months:

- Complete removal of proxy spotting and introduction of new and unique modules ... just to detect stuff

- 2 complete overhauls of the ping system and how it is displayed in the game

- Changes to submarine stats by up to 50%

- Introduction of a untested and unique way for CV to fight submarines

- 2 overhauls of ASW mechanics

- New announcement of submarines with unique and untested mechanics

Who over at Wargaming looks at all these changes and thinks "Yeah, thats the good stuff, they are ready!"?

But I can assure you that you are in the minority here.

Every forum topic I have seen that discusses submarines, has more players stating that they hate subs, than players that say they love them.

1.) That´s part of my point. And also part of the reason why WG still goes forward with full implementation.

2.) That´s because the average amount of a**holes in a forum like this is staggering if not a majority - of which I´m at times part of.

Ah, but in the end... they are here to stay, as of today more than ever. Which makes the average rage post even more pointless and pathetic than it already was before today.

So, just because a majority go on the forums and say they hate subs, you say they are a**holes.

Interesting analogy you have there.

I was just stating the fact that more players have said in the forums that they hate subs.

Compared to the number of players that have come onto the forum and said they like them.

The only reason why WG is pushing submarines into the game in this ridiculous state is sunk cost fallacy.

They invested so much time, money and resources into this stuff ... They need to cash out before the end of the fiscal year early 2023.

The problem is ... Submarines will never turn a profit. Why? Because not only do submarines require a ton of development themselves but they also will increase any future development of anything simply because everything now has to adjust for mechanics unique to submarines.

- Every new map now requires a fully working and designed underwater landscape

- Every new ship has to account for Submarines

- Every change to anything has to account for Submarines

And while there are a lot of mechanics that will be used by both submarines and surface ships, there are also a lot of mechanics and problems unique to submarines

And for what?

How many submarines can be sold?

Lets say we get 5 nations with submarines,  and 3 premium ships each (2 tier 8, 1 tier 10) ... That is 15 premium ships ... in total! For a playerbase that is at its peak 10% of actual players, with barely any big historical submarines you can actually use to sell them as premiums. With the exception of the i-400s no submarine comes even close in name recognition to Warspite, Tirpitz, Enterprise etc.

But thanks to all of them development cost of the game increased by 25-50% ... forever ...

Submarines will never earn a profit, they are a colossal waste of money.

they also don´t fire off unavoidable doomsday blasts.

Watch this example from a real game. Start at the 7 minute mark. AS the saying goes these days "Educate yourself"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-15IT3XErcY&ab_channel=Flamu

How could the Des Moines have avoided being wrecked by the submarine like that?

You know, it should be clear by now how strong the feeling is that submarines greatly reduce (even ruin for some) the enjoyment of the game for the majority of players.

What sort of person insists on their own enjoyment even if it causes the suffering of others?

I think that there is a name for them. Taken from the name of some French Marquis.

ASIDE: I'm beginning to think that removing team damage was the preparation for introducing submarines!

...and by "Randomly chosen Operations" what you actually mean is totally rigged so I get only the new Operation missions. Gotcha.

I have been playing a few operations today.

I have got a few different ones.

I played some tier 7 cruisers and tier 8 BB's.

I never got the same one twice in succession.

How Wargaming manages to show in a video how little respect they have for their customers.

Luckily I'm not a paying customer anymore and I haven't recommended the game to friends for a while. If this is your goal Wargaming, then keep it up..

Why?

U.S. Hybrid Battleships

A branch of U.S. hybrid battleships awaits players in the winter. Three new ships—Nebraska, Delaware, and Louisiana—are in development. We can safely say that they will be armed with 406 mm guns. The hulls for these ships are designed based on the battleship branch headed by Montana, and the primary unique feature of the new ships will be the ability to launch squadrons similar to aircraft carriers and other hybrid ships.
