previously if you bought a 2nd camo, you were not getting a greater economical advantage when compared to having 1 camo for that ship.You couldn't mount 2 permanent camouflages at once, so you were in any case always still getting the benefit of one.
So in the end you still end up with the same in both cases.

By this reply you are telling me that for the 5k dubs for every permanent camouflage for each individual ship on tier X I hold (without a current perma camouflage atm), I still get the economic booster package too? If so WG's information is once again incorrectly spelled a.k.a. dubious. I understand the results of the split of the camouflage, but the information provided is misleading as i do not recall any mentioning of a 2nd camo for 1 specific ship.

That is not what I am saying. I am saying that in the case where you buy 2 camouflages and 1 economic boosters in the current system, that you end up with exactly the same as if you had purchased 2 camouflages for the ship prior to the change. The value did not decrease.

The camouflages are bought separately from the economic bonus, and if you buy a camouflage that is not discounted, you will not automatically receive the economic bonus package.

I am not saying that we are twisting eachothers replies, but that's why I am refering  about WG's wording in articles: clear communication is hard to find (KISS: keep it simple, stupid). 

 

Let me rephrase again: 

For each 200 dubs (visuals) and 4800 dubs (economic booster package) I am able to equip any tier X ship (not holding any "old" permanent camouflage on that specific ship). Any subsequent camouflage for that specific ship will cost me 5000 dubs (without booster). Is that correct?

 

Furthermore, if I buy for 10 tier X ships, currently not holding any "old" permanent camouflage, their respective new visuals and economic booster packages will cost me 50k dubs. Is that correct?

 

Last but not least, if I want to buy only the visuals for 10 tier X vessels, currently NOT holding any "old" permanent camouflage, it Will 10*200 dubs for a total of 2k dubs. Is that correct?

 

If all answers from you are replied with YES, you see where the confusion lays: lack of clear communication on the side of WG.

 

Fyi, atm every article of WG has to be put under a microscope to get a clear picture of the puzzle WG everytime produces.

 

You yourselves are idd replying as much as possible, which I appreciate, but sometimes I do get the feeling you blurring information too.

Correct (though some camos are more expensive than 5k)

We'll try to keep things simple in future, though it's not always possible with such complex changes. I appreciate your comments though.

 I would imagine anyone who works for WG or for that matter any gaming company with the same ethics as Wargambling learns quite quickly that thoughts stay in your head and never ever pass through the lips (Like Being Married Really) if you value your job that is

I do remember a former streamer/cc, before he became a WG member, having his head full in the PR disaster, but leaving or fired not very long after that. He's full of sh*'t or paranoia due to the events started end of February 2022. I stopped following him since then. Weirdo 1st class...

So what happens if pre-rework you earned a camo from a collection like the Epochs or sth but you haven't put it on a ship yet? It's just a camo, no bonus? Or if I have the K117 for Yamato but I don't have the Yamato itself yet. All you get is a coat of paint?

you have a perma camo and a perma bonus set to put on ships...

you have the K117 camo and the permanent bonuses (upgraded to the normal values of tier X) waiting for you to get the Yamato...

I will correct my self, this system is actually quite good, and easy to use once figured out, its way easier to set the bonuses now.

sorry WG i was hotheaded, didnt take the time to understand, i fell just like the rest for the easy way out and complain rather than understanding, i believe that the reason is that we are creatures of habit.

Click on your name, top left in the client, select inventory.

 

Then select camoflages on the left.

This will list all the camos you have.

Then you just sell them all, or however many you want to sell.

 

Note that at the moment, you can buy one permanent camo for any ship for 100 gold.

I have bought a few perma ones that way.

 

No point keeping any other camos.

You may as well sell them all and get credits for them.

You can sell most consumable camouflages by clicking on your nickname in Port -> Inventory -> Camouflages.
