It takes forever to change ships, forever to get into the Armoury, forever to collect reward containers, forever to get into a game, forever to get back into Port after the game is ended. You choose a Ship in Port and another appears, you click for flags and you get upgrades... Yet once in game it's as smooth as Silk. I have already submitted reports, shown video evidence but still nothing.. I am not alone. WeeGee told me they'll fix it in a future update... But left out the bit telling me which one... And its not my PC specs either. It's like the whole port experience is out of Sync... Sick and tired of seeing 'Not Responding' top left of my screen. Just opened some Transformer containers and the rewards appear before you see the crate rise to open... or your Coal bonus appears before the crate reveals the contents... But, back on topic. What WG could do is insert profiling code into the game client. Around certain operations you can start & stop millisecond timers (there's Win32 API functions to do just this). So, when the user clicks on something start a timer before sending the request to the server, then stop it when the client gets the ACK back from the server. Or start a timer when selecting a ship and then stop it when the 3D model has been loaded & rendered. Timings could then be uploaded to the server into a record on the user's database. Support could then inspect these timings to narrow down where the problem lies. By default, the timers would be disabled (so that they do not affect performance) but could be enabled by the player or by support if they're investigating a ticket on the player's behalf. Only to push sales. lets not forget about that one trick pony ruckker. This begin to happen in the last 2 years, and i didnt changed PC parts or internet provider in this time interval. So i am pretty sure its WG's fault. Oh, before i forget, my PC specs are Ryzen 1600AF, Asrock B450M Pro motherboard, Asus Rog Strix 1660 Super, 16 GB of Crucial Ballistix 3000, and i run the game from a Kingston SSD, in Full HD resolution. All this happening since 0.11.05... Idk, but the only reliable thing for me.is reboot of the computer. After a while (especially if you ALT TAB a lot) the game gets very laggy. Funny thing is, that even if you close the game and relunch the port lag is still there. So I made a routine.. every time I go play WoWS i reboot the computer first so its clean reboot :) Once ingame I use Designers port as it is the least laggy of them all (no water rendering)...
