Is Solo Warrior the coolest achievement - Replay added

Yes and no.

 

You can earn one by playing really well and carrying a game. But you can also get one gifted, by being AFK for most of the match and coming back as the last ship alive while time is ticking in your favor. But yes, all things concerned it's an extremely rare achievement.

In randoms and/or ranked? Certainly, with the caveat @SkipperCH mentioned. For operations that would be An Instant Before Victory (got it only once, with RTS Ryujo in Raptor Rescue).

Surprisingly, I seem to have one (just one) - no idea how that happened. I was almost certainly spectacularly lucky...!

In game you can check. if you hover over the achievement you can see with which ship you acquired it.

Just to really grind your almonds - you can get this achievement by being AFK, but it is still considered the most difficult one.

Fair point I have no doubt it must have happened to some people. If I was ever in that situation I would have to buy a lottery ticket as it would be my lucky day.

I remember when I got my only one SW. Two Brothers, Domination, I was in my Budyonny and ahead on points, but with reds having 3 caps with 2 min to end. I resetted their DD trying to get our only remaining cap, then get the hell away while his friends steamed through the channel and run the clock down. Still very happy about it.

My first Solo Warrior was the first replay I ever uploaded on the website: almost a double strike with 10 seconds left on the clock, and we needed both kills to go ahead on points. Good memories

Z-46 apparently, which seems even more improbable (than me getting one in the first place); I really don't recall getting that at all...

Was my first solo warrior. Think i killed 4 ships after the whole team died. Sadly i dont think the replays from this version work anymore even if there wasnt paranoia around replays at the min.

Well, I have four Solo Warriors (I remember every match.) but only one Unsinkable.

Liquidator is probably the hardest one to get after WG nerfed reworked flooding mechanics.

 

Solo warrior is coolest, but extremely random and usually requires a team to throw really hard.

On one hand I've been alone vs 4 a couple time and killed 3 (CV was 4th one), at the other extreme Jingles has a video of an AFK fuso earning af Solo warrior....

I don't remember that one, but I do remember a Jingles vid where an AFK Edinburgh scored better than 3 of his active team mates.

I have 3 Solo Warriors, but only one Unsinkable. Did they remove it with the Liquidator achievement or is flooding just so rare these days?

Unsinkable is also rare, only have 6 of them over almost 17k games.

Pretty sure I remember them removing Liquidator. 

 

Solo Warrior is great, but Double-Strike is so satisfying. Plus, it comes with a unique line.

I'd go with the folks that say Liquidator is the rarest (since the flooding damge change).

I'd say Liquidator will give you ultimate bragging rights if you achieve now.

Depends problem is what case flooding damage. Rams and torps. Technical it should be more arceivable now since there are more low damge torps in the game compared to the past.
