For the T8 cammo, it has been like this for the past 3-4 early access where you need to spend either doublons or community token to get the T8 cammo.

You can spend community tokens which you can earn for free by recruiting other players, watching twitch streams and participating in the public test.
Then you can obtain it completely for free!

my avatar fits my nick perfectly ... which itself is rather dumb ... to my excuse i didn't realize that it would become my nick when creating it for wot beta ... i would have changed 666 with smthg else ... for now of course 666 has become the sign of true skill and excellence and so i have not bothered to change it

as i asked you earlier - perhaps you could open my eyes and explain what makes this camo so fantastic

 French colors all over the ship. Golden fragments on the turrets. Basically white, blue and red highlighted with a bit of gold fits insane well.

 

Upcoming Black event permacamo also looks sick. Hopefully it could be earned for free... If not, well they earned that money from me for a good reason

I got the community tokens, so it's not that big of a deal to spend it on a T8 perma camo.

 

The issue is not so much spending some community tokens. It's rather that Cherbourg, from what I hear, is a disappointing ship, with no utility and no dpm to compensate for that. So the question is not so much whether a perma camo is worth spending community tokens or minor amounts of money on it, but rather whether it's worth spending them on a perma camo for THIS ship.

Not french, but I know that combination of colours are french. And composition is really great

 

Women in the front is not my favorite part, but but makes these unique from other permacamos

I heard various opinions, but what is underwhelming is definitely the fire chance of HE. T9 and T10 with slightly bigger guns gets almost double of the fire chance. So this is mostly an AP ship, and it should work since Agir on T9 gets the same caliber and I dont think I ever used HE on that one.... 305 mm allows to consistently make good damage on hulls of cruisers and superstructures of BBs.

This whole event is nonsense!

 

you can chase all the French coin available from playing the game and all you get is a bunch of signals (which you’ll burn through in a night or 2 of playing) and 50k commander xp. You need to use up another resource to get a perma camo which in a few months will be worth jack all when they change the xp system.

 

then you have the last weeks set of objective, yes some bb Unicom’s might knock out 50k+ base xp, 100k free xp and 40mil potential in no time at all, but for the rest of us is a bloody grind. Just to get a T8 ship which will cost roughly 130k xp and 5-6mill coin.

 

WG the work doesn’t fit the reward!

but the cammo is so crap..... all tier 8 cammos are crap i never use them i always put on another cammo.....

you cant spend something that almost nobody have. Its not like i know this kind of event is going to be so I save my token (which you get like 100 per month) and spend it on this.

Dont tell me to recruit, since nobody wants to come and play it.

In bundles you dont get 100 tokens, but 70, so you have to buy 2 bundles. Smartass wargaming.

your camos will be transfered to bonuses which they offer. If you have camo with credit bonus, they will be in transfered to credit bonus, and so on.. So no, selling them is the worst idea.

I would not call it bloody, but you have to spent time and get your freeXP-signals together .... and then you still have to spent 1200 community points.

Sorry, but participating on the test server and doing missions there is extra time, which people have to spent and not everybody has. I know WG tries to make their twitch streams more relevant by baiting their costumers into it with community tokens, but I have to give even more data to Amazon, to get the community tokens on Twitch, so these Tokens are everything, but not for free.

Hm. That is curious.
I too got the email, and did receive them.

Can you confirm that you still have not received them? In that case I can have a look at what may have gone wrong here.
