So does it have any difference compared to normal Azuma with regard to its performance in battle, or is it just a clone?

Side question: are the AL commanders nation bound, or can you apply them to any nation?

Nation bound, though the voice acting suggests that they are all guinea pigs.

No it's very different.

If you sail this ship you not only proclaim your weebery to the world  but you also demonstrate how quick you are to spend money to do so!

Well you can apply any temp camo and you can change the captain, I bought AL Yukikaze a while ago because F3 torps on a tier VIII Kagero?

But yeah......

Name will stay.

That said, if you happen to have some money to burn and you're looking for a new ship, you might as well get weeb version of it. Granted, WoWs PC team is yet to make an actually convincing AL skin for their ships instead random recolor that very vaguely resembles original character color palette, let alone any characteristic features.

I don't particularly mind weeb ships, got some of the HSF ships, but I'm not particularly fond of the Azure Lane designs.

Been looking to get Azuma for a while but looking at the difference between the AL and ordinary versions with coupons the difference is about 955 doubloons, and all things considered I'd probably get the non AL version, though it's still available for free XP or coal so there's that too.

Probably better to just grind it.

Given fragility of Azuma/B-65 in general, putting this much money/doubloons behind her I find... questionable to say the least. For free currencies, she's okay-ish pick?

So all the AL ships are 1:1 copies? Thought i read that the Montpellier is a better Cleveland?

Montpelier (more accuracy in exchange for reload?), Yukikaze (F3 torpedoes) and Soyuz (regular dispersion formula) are different, the rest are carbon copies I believe.

Yeah I already have Yoshino anyway, I just like the Japanese cruisers/bb's so it's an itch that needs scratching, not going to splash cash for it though, will get it for "free"

Montpelier is different rather than better: slightly more accurate and with slightly more HP but with a slightly long reload.

Keep in mind that commander Azuma is the reward for completing the Azure Lane Collection.

And the regular ship Azuma is availble for 1 milion freeXP.

Which means you can put Azuma on Azuma without spending a penny (or doubloon).

How good are the torpedos on this Azuma?

Considering it is an Azuma, you only have a one-time use torpedo.

Or hit single ship from two sides:Smile_trollface: because I don't think we're talking about Azuma's torpedo payload, because she carries none
