Neither do I. But I'm convinced that this is the actual intention. I mean if you have to hire a frakkin accountant firm for a frakkin game.....the idea is to make it as complicated as possible so you can farm the living begeesus out of the potatoes:cap_haloween:

I think it will be worse. Probably the "rework" of the year.

For comparison, using a Tier X ship with permanent camouflage:

  • Now on the main server, the post-battle service cost is 90,000 credits, and the credit income is increased by 20% thanks to the camouflage;
  • In the new system, taking into account all the changes, the service cost will be 150,000 credits, and the income will be increased by 50%.

These two bonuses even out at 200,000 base credits earned, with the new system being more effective if you earn more. With all the changes, you will receive, on average, the same amount of credits as before, or even more.

With the (imho designed and wanted by WG) rise in massive blowout games I would assume that they make sure that less people make it to the 200k base credits earned. So in the end most unlucky, normal and bad players will be worse off. Of course good players (e.g. players in the spotlight like streamers who can train WoWs 8 hours a day while we are working in the coalmines) will be much better off and they will point to them and tell us everything is fine.

"Camouflages will cost between 22,500 and 90,000 credits, depending on the category of the pattern:

Standard, such as "Type 1" or "European" - 22,500 credits;

Single-color, such as "Type 21" or "Trophy" - 45,000 credits;

Abstract, such as "Ocean Soul" or "French Riviera" - 75,000 credits;

Artistic, such as "Union Jack" or "Summer" - 90,000 credits."

Hm. Those camos will not provide anything but eye candy, right? Why should people pay credits for them? :Smile_amazed:

Since camos are only just going to be a visual aspect, for people that REALLY like how a camo looks on a ship why not make them cost something like... I don't know, pay 1 million credits for a camouflage of your choice, but it becomes permanent instead of this that no one will ever use because it's just throwing credits away for no reason whatsoever.

Fair enough. There are plenty of players who aren't using camos despite the fact that those do provide boni, so I suspect we will see even more shades of grey once those boni get removed.

Can someone here whos speaks WGish please tell me what will happen to STOCK of non permanent cammos, signals and special signals that players have earned/bought on their account?

I have thousands of expendable camos gathered in the past 7 years (all kinds of them, with different bonuses) and I cant find a clear information what will happen to them.

Thnx.

I have quite a bit of stuffs such as camos and flags, this is what my prediction looks like:

image.thumb.png.13562d27a4261ff713b58c34c80bc0dd.png

Since the XP boniaises no longer propagate to captain XP or anything else, those thousands of small bonusisses are completely worthless to me and I have thousands of them. Simple XP bonus camos were never the favorite drop from any containers, but I bought stuff knowing that at least I'd get them if I was unlucky. Would not make the same choice again.

What we need is some way to convert unwanted far too numerous xp (or other types, whatever floats your boat) boniauseses into a) higher tier and/or b) different type of bonusii.

what i would need for the starter is some simple examples of how 100 one type signals will turn to smthg and then how 100 one type camos will turn to smthg else and how we can use this new stuff

I kind of admire how you tried 4 times to write "boni" or "bonuses" and still did not get it right. :Smile_veryhappy:

Tbh, I just sell all one-use-stuff immediately for credits, so this entire "eco-terror" does not concern me.

you, as a staff member, are not allowed to say boring to client's feedback. if i would be your boss it would be your first and last warning if you are good at least on smthg.

other than that it is a good example of how important our feedback is for lesta - boring

My understanding is: we take away your whole inventory and the items you got for playing the game will cost real money after the rework.

Did I miss something?

This is total scam.

Have >130 of all dragon flags, >100 of 200% camos and 50 of 400% xp or similar type camos.

Yet i only get 51 7200% FXP bonuses despite currently having the camos+flags for 130+ of them.

Not even counting literally thousands of camos and regular eco flags since thos bonuses are lower.

Thnx.

Now, we are ready to share a more convenient representation of the conversion calculator. If you are logged into the portal, all your camo and signal stocks will be automatically taken into account and you will be able to know how many bonuses you will get. Please note that the calculator does not take signals and camouflages mounted on ships into account, so with the release of the change you will get a bit more bonuses than the calculator shows. Use one of the following links, depending on your region:

You can only have one camo on a ship at a time. So each non-perm camo gets split into:

the visual effects

a individual new bonus for each category that the original bonus affected (other than detection and dispersion)  amended by the rule changes, which are basically that any bonus to XP on the existing camo will also be applied to Commander and Free XP in the new system, and then rounded up to the nearest Tier in the new system.

So my 400 Shadow Lurker Camos (+75% XP, +100% Commander XP, +150% Free XP) become

x400 times Shadow Lurker visuals (1 use)

x400 +100% XP bonuses (75% rounded up to the nearest new Tier)

x400  +200% Commander XP Bonuses (75% XP + 100% Commander XP rounded up to the nearest new Tier)

x400 +300% Free XP bonuses (75% XP + 150% Free XP rounded up to the nearest new Tier).

With signals it gets a bit more complicated as they've done it based on signal sets (i.e groups of signals which shared modifiers in some way)...

In cornflake's defence, that post was basically just saying they didn't trust WG enough to bother reading their dev blog which explained everything...

:Smile_sceptic: So TLDR - you need to do more for the same gain in most matchess for the off chance of earning a bit more if you really clean house…

Or in esence - we tighten the (free) game economy even more…
