Rules not clear/ correct at Ranked Battle for save star

Hi,

 

I just wondering, if I play in bronze league at qualification am I at Bronze league or Silver league?

 

If I am playing in Silver league (while I am in qualification phase in bronze league) why if couldnt qualify should I return/reset after 2 weeks to rank 10 at bronze league?

 

If I'm playing in Bronze league (while I am in qualification phase) why I have to lose star while I was top 2 in team?

 

Still argued with customer service, they said in qualification phase I play already Silver league  therefore only top 1 is save star. But they cant explain why should I return to rank 10 in bronze league if couldnt qualify.

You are in bronze. You are bronze rank 1, in the qualifying stage to reach silver.

Why do you think you should end up getting into silver league at the start of a new sprint if you fail to qualify for silver??

Qualification always takes place with the players from the league you are qualifying for and the players who are qualifying (same as you). When on the loosing side, only the top player saves a star, but you can't drop out of qualification because of a lost star.

because qualification is always based on the rules of the higher league (of course, since you are playing against players already in the higher league)

in the past the difference between two leagues was usually the used ship tier, now it is also the mechanism of star saving...

In Quals you play "silver league provisionally" it was always like that in the new system which was visible by the fact you hat to take the next league tier ships in it when the tiers were league distributed...

Regarding new rules: "In the Bronze League, players who take the first two places by XP earned keep their Stars in a lost battle."

 

This is ok in Bronze league when play rank 10 to 2, but when I played Bronze league Qualification phase, while I finished as second place, I lost star! 

 

So, when you play rank 10 to 2 in bronze league, you can save star when you 1 of the top 2 players if your team lost BUT when you play in qualification phase in bronze league if your team lost and you are number 2 then you lost star!

 

Did you see any clarify rules different in bronze league rank 10 to 2 AND Qualify phase, in anyway you are still in Bronze league and rules should be same is it? But no, you will lost star when you second player!

You are in qualifying stages, which means only the top person saves a star. These are the rules.

 

They should remove the star saving altogether to keep people that struggle where they belong, but it would require another 'rework', and in WG terminology, 'rework' just means 'make worse'.

 

Just win more games and there is no need to worry about star saving.

The fact you are whinging about this so much, that you have made this topic, posted the same complaints in the WOWs calendar, argued with customer support, and are so hung up on saving a star means you probably should stay in bronze. Forever.

 

Ask them to just remove stars and let everyone be 'golden league' players.

Qualification rules from bronze to silver is arranged according to silver league since teams do not only consist of bronze qualifying candidates but also players from the upper silver league and since you can’t impose bronze league rules to silver league players, bronze league qualifying candidate players have to play as per the silver league rules.

When you enter the qualification stage for silver, you're no longer part of bronze.

And when you play in Silver league, rank 1 qualification phase, when your team lost, you cant save star even you are number 1...because you should part of Gold league, is it?

i agree that the qualification process is not very intuitive but i don't complain about it. It doesn't matter how it is. What matters is that Ranked system works well and provides the opportunity to group more skillful players together what Randoms cannot provide. I answered also to the general Rankeds topic about qualification thing. Feel free to talk any Ranked-related opinions there.

Qualifications follow the rules of the next league. If you fail to qualify, you'll be reset to your current league R10.
