...it's not the ships that are fun, but the overall playing environment. Prior to the idiotic CV ReWreck, one could have fun in any ship. But now they've piled subs atop CVs....

The mighty Hood. The old lady is surprisingly fun. No idea why she's rarely seen ingame. I play her mainly as kiter and fast flanker, to get those crossfires. Really just a fantastic t7 bb overall.

HSF Harekaze a beast of a DD at TVIII.  I bought the ship when it was first released.

 

I have bought premiums since then though but none are as much fun as it is.

Most played one? Fujin I think Plus kamikaze or Kamikanze R the one that wasnt for perls got all 3 anyhow but perl isnt real money or dublons. The one that payed for my 1st 2 T10 Techtree ships was Murmansk due to mechanics at that time ,-)))).

 

Last would be Maya but i dont really like her low dps for a allready castrated Atago hull only for the derp torps that you wont use 90% of the time. I have Mainz but havent played her often Massachusets probably the last really fun one.

HSF Harekaze, first edition.

 

First money ship (now in company of HSF Spee, Alaska B and Constellation), but easy and by far my favourite ship for which I had to pay, even high ranking when considering freemiums and tech-tree ships.

I got my other doubloon-only ships (standard Spee, Dunkerque, De 7 Provincien and soon-to-come Atlântico and likely Puerto Rico) with coins from crates, Ranked or birthday cashback, but those won't displace my small, little DD in its cutes camos from his favourite role.
