Of course, Victory in Europe Day isn't really celebrated as such. Instead they have Europe Day celebrating peace and unity. It's one day later, on May 9th.

It is true that offers are not always exactly the same but we always had (in living memory) the:

 

–50% to the cost of upgrades in credits

 

(2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 etc.)

No. They were very cryptic about it. They said something like "He's still in the building. They even have to pass his office door at times. But that he has nothing to do with ships anymore".

MrConway already briefly talked about this ~2 months ago on stream, that everyone would be seeing him less, considering that he was moving away from the ships team.
He will still remain within Wargaming and is still with us here in the same office, and you may still occasionally see him on streams and such as a guest. WorldofWarships and its community is of course still very dear to him after the very long time he has worked with and for the ships team and community.
I can't unfortunately say where he is going, but I can say he is in good hands :)

That could be a factor, then again it's always been a little 'indiscreet' to bring up a VE day in the context of the post-WW2 European cooperation where it's better to focus on the remembrance of the war and the new found unity in peace.
