I picked up Abruzzi and a couple of others to use in Narai several years ago when Operations were still good.... Though there was plenty of developer effort for space battles and ruined city modes, which sold nothing to nobody. Wouldn't it have been better to have expanded operations? I never brought one single T8, whereupon I got plenty of T6's on both accounts. I know. operations ofc had an indirect effect on sales. I specifically bought myself a Sims for Operation Dynamo. Just when I got the hang of hitting those tiny speed boats, WG removed Dynamo. Needless to say, a gunboat with 80% of the firepower of a Mahan, and 6.6km concealment is not particularly useful in randoms. So, I felt pretty cheated by WG removing the operation. That again had an indirect effect on sales, since I was disappointed and did not buy anything for a few months. If only WG had understood that lesson.
