Imagine grinding Puerto-Rico-Dockyard twice

I think this is nice. I'm probably gonna go for her this time around. Too bad you can't equip the accuracy mod in slot 6.

I was thinking something similar, assuming the grind really is reasonable, *and* submarines aren't making it too unpleasant to do the necessary missions when we get to the relevant part of the year...

If that compensation is really steel/doubloons then I expect the price of the starter packs to be very high. FDR is 33k steel and they sold some T10 for dubs at about 35k. No way I see them giving away such amounts easily.

Sorry! I'm mainly trying to remind myself not to get too excitable about upcoming newness (although mainly it's the IJN CLs and/or RN battlecruisers in my case), because I'm less likely to blow a gasket if I'm already mindful that the game could easily go down the plughole in the meantime (assuming WG take their usual approach to the new - clearly bollixed - underwater w4nkers).

I must say i find this troubling, surely an option if this dockyard is cheaper in total doubloons should be a refund to your bank account equaling to the price of doubloons you spent getting the Peurto Rico (if you had a life and did not grind the whole dockyard).

One thing is to do the dockyard again. Quite another is to do it at a cheaper and easier grind than the last time because WG made a mistake the first time around. That is a kick in the teeth for all the players who paid the extortionate price to whale the ship in the first place. 

Also admitting it was a mistake sounds like a hollow apology to me. If it was that much of a mistake why didnt you cancel the Peurto Rico, refund everybody and then start the dockyard again with more realistic targets later on. Nah, WG just kept the money and apologise for making a load of money.

WG saying they will pay the original Peurto owners ingame resources as compensation stinks to me. Those resources just go straight back into the game whilst looking back the player might not be comfortable with that and might just want the price of a T10 ship back in their bank account.

You have to remember that they are offering it to people who already have an infamously expensive boat.

Irrelevant, the fact that hes not working at WG is nothing to do with that dockyard event. Like i said WG werent that sorry about the event.

Assuming WG do what they say:

• Anyone who did the PR grind the first time isn't doing an easier grind for PR, they're doing it for *any* T10 they don't already have (or rather the resources for same).
• The rest of us who are lacking in the PR department are doing the same grind, but we only have one choice of reward: PR herself.

While that doesn't make up for the original hideousness, at least those who went through it will get a superior reward (if they choose to complete the new one, and recalling that you can't complete the new one without some doubloon expenditure) this time around.

I got it the first time for 12k doubloons and alot of grind.

If 35k doubloons is given back, that's quite a nice return on my investment. Or the alternative, we get about half a year of grind worth of RBs or Steel or coal. Appreciated.
