Meh, I never play mine.

The dispersion is terrible, so it is only fun if you're brawling a BB since you do not have a citadel.

If it is Puerto Rico then what’s the betting they give credits compensation.

Kind of makes sense: with the office moves, and changes in company structure, I was expecting to start seeing more recycled content. I wonder if the grind will be as insane this time?

The compensation provided for Puerto Rico is quite generous, I believe:

Puerto Rico returning to the Dockyard was already planned quite far in advance.

I cannot provide any specific details, but as is mentioned in the article, we have learned from our mistakes from the first PR Dockyard, and it should be the case that the missions are not as grindy as they were for the original. However this time she can not be obtained for free.

I recommend you read the roadmap update: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/general-news/waterline-roadmap-update-spring-2022/

it contains additional information about all the different things, including puerto rico.

This, only good thing is that she is still rare so when there is “one ship limit” rule in place in CB I dont clash much with rest of my m8s for the spot… And ok she is reasonably tough to cit but in return she burns like a mf, I play her with a lighthouse build in randoms/ranked from time to time but honestly she was gutted when they nerfed the dispersion to bb levels…

Despite all the horrible flaws the game currently has, i appreciate the admitting of mistakes regarding the dockyard and doing it better now.

The rewards seem nice as an owner. The reward in coal, RB ( both no!) and steel ( yes) and doubloons ( more yes) are enough to buy any T10 Wg claims... Are there T10’s buyable for doubloons? If it’s a large amount of doubloons I will grind as much as sanely possible and buy the remaining part while probably still ending with a doubloon profit.

Steel would be even more special (since it’s claims any steel ship that means the most expensive which is the cv and with or without discount coupon) But i paid heavy for the PR so having some cashback in doubloons might be better.

PR is a bit disappointing as a T10 since Alaska is a very good tier 9,5. That one extra turret does not compensate the better accuracy of the Alaska. But considering the amount of money and grinding that PR cost me I have very few games to show for it.

Well I’m not surprised former dockyard ships would return for sale, and it’s nice to see WG did learn something from the PR fiasco.

I might actually consider doing this new grind.

Will be the Gorizia available again as middle reward ? If so, gonna be the compensation for her if someone already got her ? Or this info also counts as " specific detail " ?

That's true and praise should be given for it, while many of the Dockyard ships are lackluster, the event itself was always fair and provided good rewards.

FYI to have the same horizontal 1-sigma accuracy as Alaska (as in 67% of the shells landing within the width of dispersion/sigma), Puerto Rico would need to have a sigma value of 2.45. It would still have worse horisontal accuracy. I think it would need a sigma of 2.55-2.6 to have the same overall accuracy as Alaska. Thats the difference between supercruiser and BB dispersion. Alaska has sigma 2.05.  I have about the same average damage in Alaska as in Puerto Rico.

Honestly still as utterly uninterested in her as I was back then.

Nothing I have seen of her since has made me change my opinion that the Puerto Rico is, simply put, not worth the trouble.

The steel compensation is really nice for us who got the PR in the first run , personally it costed 2 boosters to make it doable. So it will be an extra steel ship but on the other hand I might save it until f.e. a withdrawal is announced as one can only use 1 coupon/6 months. Next is already earmarked for the British Battlecruiser.

And yes like many have stated I have hardly played PR outside snowflakes, in the first months it was sort of forbidden to take her out. And the US non torps ships are not my cup of tea which I have painfully discovered in randoms long time ago, but maybe I do another try. i play DM/Salem a lot in coop.
