I have an INVITATION to give away. To any member of WG staff who would like to join me in a division to play a few co op battles please feel free to join me - I hope then you will see why Co Ops should be on the roadmap of future developments.

I really hope that the new lines will finally support a diferent playstyle. This sit back and spam HE meta is getting too boring to keep on playing.

I wonder what special camo we'll get for the Puerto Rico, will it be the last one rewarded in the first dockyard, or maybe a new one. Like seen on the thumbnail in the article?

Something more realistic like this one here from the article,

1271602752_Skrmbild(78).png.d0f23d0240d82d58c027ecde6363e717.png

Or we'll get the old one from the first dockyard,

1763824526_Skrmbild(79).thumb.png.b12fd9471d12275d2173018547aaa0a2.png

Actually now when I think about it, the one in the article is the same old one, just without the American camo stripes, the big flag and the marines standing on the deck. We'll maybe get a some sort of hybrid camo?

So...

CAN I HAVE MY MONEY BACK!?

Or at least some compensation for the money that I sunk in FIRST TIME?

You know... when I put in 14k gold for something I never got...

In the screenshot you posted:

Players who already have flag_USA_dd9fc06d19a8638f4077ab2fe200d22special_333a61069a325ba8314cbbae96c1a345X Puerto Rico in their Ports but still build her at this Dockyard will be provided with compensation. We plan to give such players the opportunity to select a bundle with one of the following resources: Doubloons, Steel, Coal, or Research Points. The amount of whichever resource is in the bundle will be enough to obtain any Tier X ship currently available for purchase.

i hope that answers your question :)

I'm afraid the changes to the economy will make the grind even longer.

Well there's 2 things:
1. Economy should not affect this as most missions are always related to in-game performance, not earnings.
2. It should actually make it easier, as you will earn more in the long run, and also are able to select what specifically you want to earn more of.

My one concern over Arms Race is that it is only for tier IX, X  and Superships

So now all the lower tiers lose Epicentre and gain nothing meaning a much blander selection of battles.

I have no desire to play above tier 8 as a new player, pointless as I have so much to research and learn.

Any chance of leaving Epicentre in for the lower tiers to mix it up a bit, otherwise it is Standard Battles and Domination only.

I heard there have been many other modes in the past so how about adding something in as a replacement.

Epicenter already generally does not happen on lower tier, so this change should not really affect much in that case.

On 5/5/2022 at 10:19 AM, Klopirat said:

is that really the case? Because the article says

and imho a battle with tier VII-IX would fit this criteria...

Indeed.

A Tier IX battle is a battle where the highest tier is Tier IX.

Apparently you didn't visit the link that I also included there...

My question about the refund is that I sunk in 14k gold into the event the first time and did not get a refund for the gold that time nor did I got the ship...

I literally paid 14k for a ship I couldn't get, and I didn't received a refund for it!

But you did receive an item for each of the individual steps of the dockyard that you paid for with those dubs.

Do
mission battle for all levels, you should be able to choose the difficulty level Tier from 1 to *. Clean up Super Ship
Assignments with difficulty afterwards and reward accordingly.

For example Tier 1 to 3 missions +2 - 2En the wish had been the Nordic Chruiser Tech tree.

Why mark you as mad and dont explain
Be this to easy or to tough explain for me ?

If they fix bot ship so that not be a Kamekaze fight be good
Take Convoy Just for tier VI that should be should be from Tier V to supership and diffrent job tougher higher tier instead.

another thing I research HMS Skåne is not a fighter but a Submarine A29
Then do a mission so you can Rent an A29 submarine
Change the name of Skåne DD To another etc J14 Kalmar.
Had been fat with Competition / mission win Gotland aircraft cruiser or Hms R142 YSTAD Maybe a new Nordic tree with these boats and Danish Finnish Norwegian ships Just a suggestion.
There are many opinions respecting them and having a friendly tone in discussion

There are missions where you can win Coal steel With the difficulty of winning them.
The minimum for coal should be 400 and steel 100 shall be green steel :P

50口径四十一式15cm砲 (50 caliber Type 41 15 cm gun) historically main armament of IJN Agano-class, and in the future by IJN Agano and IJN Gokase.

50%E5%8F%A3%E5%BE%84%E5%9B%9B%E4%B8%80%E

This gun needs to be fixed! It is historically a dual-purpose gun after it was mounted in a turret for Agano-class light cruiser.

This gun was originally mounted on IJN Kongo-class and Fuso-class battleship in casemate style. After it was installed in a turret the gun elevation increased from 30 degree to 55 degree making it possible to be used for anti-aircraft.

Even if it AA capability was limited due to the need of returning the gun to its loading angle but this gun still needs to be change to dual-purpose and long range AA defense should be consider because the Yahagi currently only has short and medium range AA defense.

15cm Type 0 High-Explosive Time Fuze as can be found on IJN Agano in War Thunder.

Chance to drop expendable camouflage decreased from 29% to 21%.
Chance to remove permanent camouflage increased from 7% to 12%.
Commander drop chance increased from 14% to 15%.

Chances of dropping consumable economic bonuses increased from 40% to 42%.
The number of containers that must be opened to guarantee the acquisition of one of the permanent camouflages - unless dropped from one of the open containers - is reduced from 35 to 20.

why? the boat is heavy as it is, should it then release Up to 15% less but you only increase by 5% and 1% at most what is a drop in the ocean not even that   :(  :Smile_sad: :Smile_izmena:

Well - the twin gun mounts on the Agano class were not true turrets as they lacked a stalk. They were more of an enclosed gun house with a non-rotating handling room below.
:)
A central pivot ran down to the middle deck for mounts No. 1 and No. 3 and to the upper deck for mount No. 2. Shell rooms were located underneath the armored deck with the powder magazines beneath the shell rooms. The ammunition was moved manually between the magazines and the hoists. Propellant bags and projectiles were carried by the same bucket hoist and delivered in the vicinity of the handling rooms which were located on the middle deck for mounts 1 and 3 and on the upper deck for mount 2. Mounts 1 and 2 had two hoists while mount 3 had one hoist. From the hoists, ammunition was carried by hand through a flashtight door and into the handling room. From the handling rooms, projectiles were moved to the gunhouse via a pusher hoist while the propellant bags were pushed up by hand to the gunhouse. Loading was manual with fuzes being set by hand before loading. A fuze time receiver and fuze setting machine were located near the loading trays. The gunhouse was normally trained via electro-hydraulic motors, but it could be trained manually by two crewmen using a hand-worked system in case of an emergency. Guns were individually sleeved.

Ok good to know i gurss, But the fact that the gun is anti-air capable stands and that is the whole point of my post.

War Thunder is not used as a reference, i was showing the proximity fuse used by the 15 cm gun, i could not find a real picture of it and i don't think your book has any information about this ammunition either.

Either way the Type 0 HE-PF is a real ammunition regardless and thus the IJN CLs with this gun should have more flaks because of it.

Ok - I see your point. But from that perspective:
- Musashi, Yamato and most of japanese BBs should have their main artilery guns "added" to AA firepower  - I think you have heard about "sanshiki" projectiles? First pict is from Kure museum and shows 460 mm Yamato AA projectile, second shows explosion of it.

Spoiler

46_cm_Type_3_Incendiary_Shrapnel_Round.jpg800px-San-shiki_dan_explosion.jpg

- Tirpitz should have hers 38 cm (14.96") SK C/34 counted also as AA guns (HE L/4,6 with nose time fuze were delivered in 44 and were used against last Lancasters bombing.
As you have wrote - 15 cm/50 (6") 41st Year Type had low usage as AA guns, and I think it would have marginal influence on ships stats in WoWs. Anyway - I did not check all ships but seems to me max. guns caliber for AA is 127mm in game.

Sorry - but it is not proximity fuse - IJN did not use it and never had it during WWII for naval guns. Only proximity fuses were used for plane/aerial bombs - it was photoelectric fuse. If you want to read more about it you can find info in Reports of US Naval Technical Mission to Japan.

Full list of them: https://www.history.navy.mil/research/library/research-guides/us-naval-technical-mission-to-japan-reports-in-the-navy-department-library.html

And link do this exact one (Description and Operations of Japanese Type 3 Photoelectric Fuse [O-24]): https://bulletpicker.com/us-navy-technical-mission---ja.html

Have fun :)
