Explain how exactly playing passive has helped here. Passive play is (among other things) hanging back, hoping someone else leads the way or makes the first move. Just look for an island to hide behind, regardless the class and type of your ship. Staying in spawn or even retreating. Border hugging from the get-go. All of these things become kind of necessary when there are classes in game who - potentially fatally - punish taking the initiative. This is SO obvious that it really does not bear repeating.
