Newcomers from Ukraine

Hi all! This is my first post on the EU forum. I am a newcomer from Ukraine after the officially started account transfer from CIS server. Currently my WOWS client is uninstalled as I did it on February, 25. I guess you understand why. But I hope it will change soon and I can return to the game.

 

Please be also prepared for a wave of other Ukrainian newcomers. As far Europe is a big family of people speaking different languages I suppose it would be perfect to have also a Ukrainian language section for players from UA. Probably some of us can speak EN/DE/PL/CZ... or any other language but probably the UA language will be the most suitable for my in-game comrades. Please consider that, admins 

 

Also I would like to say something to our people. Please be respective to each other and pay respect to the forum rules despite you want to declare your patriotic statement. WOWS is just a game, and the people who play it know well why we are here. Peace to everyone!

Welcome to EU!

As for a specific language section, I am afraid that for now there are no plans to open a specific section for it.
We have many different languages in Europe and only a few that we officially support, being English, German, French, Polish and Czech.
Previously there was a time that there was also Turkish and Italian official support from our side, but these have been shut down.

This is simply because of how things work within the team, and the official language support we provide from EU side.

However we will keep it in mind for the future!

I think just opening RU/UA corner on the forums, without "proper" CM + translation support but with few volunteer mods could do the trick?

I hope to play and try to speak with english members.

Alas, they refused to transfer my account, but that's okay, because the main thing is a skill, and not some kind of premium ships. So now I'm with you too! I would be glad to find new friends because it's boring to play alone. Alas, I speak English quite badly.

 

And yes, I am not from Ukraine, but I do not intend to stay on the CIS server in any case.

You could try writing it with capital i instead of "little" L. ;) It will look the same and you'll be the only one knowing the truth.

Hello guys and welcome to EU forum!

 

As I am also slightly operating on EN section of forum, I would also like to remind about myself a bit, as you will most likely see me around here.

 

I can understand, that it can be difficult for some of you to speak and write in English, but we will try to do our best to understand on what you are trying to say. In some cases Google Translator can help a lot. 

As Seraphice mentioned, official languages on EU forums are English, German, French, Polish and Czech. Players from all other countries, speaking other languages are gathered in English section of the forum, where the only allowed language to use is English. Please, keep this in mind.

 

So I would like to ask you, to try typing in English, probably with help of Google Translator and if needed other members of the community, or we WG Staff will help with possible understanding. I personally, for example, can read Cyrillic letters, so in some cases, I should be able to understand a bit.
