I clearly feel that there's something about the Republique that feels... Right for me. Just fitting to my playstyle, aiming habits etc. It is a joy to play and I feel like home all day long while playing it. Fast, mobile, hard hitting, forgiving to a degree. Fast shells. Nice arcs (kinda) Quick reload... Somewhat tanky with the correct setup. Even secs work when the situation comes to it. 5-6 win streaks are just the norm with it, topping the team in many of them. As a cruiser main the ships i feel at home and enjoy most for a relaxed ride are midtier cruisers. A fast firing CL like Cleveland, but with actual fast shells and flat shell arcs just fits with me. Aiming is much more comfortable and I really like the fact that it actually favors a lot just melting pretty much anything with AP if anyone does the mistake of showing broadside for a few seconds instead of the usual just hoping for fires and waiting things to slowly burn down of pure HE spammers. 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But I have never given up on Tulsa, even though I am not really successful with her. I believe she is a bit underpowered and hard to play. I cannot even decide what modules to fit. I have no other ship I have switched the config this often. Still the Tulsa is my most played ship. Maybe it is because I like close combat. Being somewhat of a weeb, it's not surprising that many of my other favourites are also IJN ships, like Musashi, Nagato, Asashio, HSF Harekaze.. Ensign by @fugetsu I could probably expand that list, certainly to include Mikasa (if only there was more reason to play t2/shorter queues) and Kongou/Kongô however you want it spelled (Kongoo?). Cruisers.. more likely Tenryû/Kuma, and then Aoba. High tiers.. not so much. Even if I make a mistake and sink early, a few seconds with that DPM are so satisfying I won't be mad about it I love how she's all about "setting up the fight", in terms of distance, islands (I never play with a smoke DD), isolating a 1v1 and finding a target whose turrets are pointed elsewhere. Very unforgiving, but also very rewarding. She's the the first RB ship I recommend getting. Other favorites are Ibuki, Oland, Blyskawica, Dunkerque & Jean Bart, Marceau, Salem, Napoli and Dead-Eye Shikishima. And Fuso. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Eddy or Exeter still favorites along with Abruzzi. Trying different things at mo to stem boredom. Flint feels promising but that 12 klm range is not kind in the current environment especially when up tired. Not broken because its a one trick pony but that pony (DWP to BBs) is something out of depths of hell. 2 of my 3 Solo warriors is in Asashio and that isnt by chance.
