What is hilarious is, that you need 24000 Tokens to get all sequential bundles, but you can only earn up to 2500. 

1 Token = 1 Dubloon, which means, you have to fork out 21500 Dubloons and are only then allowed to buy Black for 19300 Dubloons. 

 

Or you wait and get Black for 296K Coal after this "wonderful" event, if you don't feel like forking out 140€. 

 

My guess is, that we'll see a lot of Black DDs before she's available for Coal.

also you can earn 2500 in the browser campiagn thing, i suspect you can earn allot more inside the game playing it reading is a great skill!

I'm one of the idiots who earned it together with Flint (actually earned it, not brute forced my way to multiple Rank 1's) in the old Ranked. Now I can not even take her out anymore because everyone thinks I'm a whale.

I'm curious, what stats does the new Black camo get that people can buy for real cash? The standard bonuses (+100% to all XPs) or the stats from the alternative camo (+150% to all XPs) that we can buy for Ranked tokens?

It has been nerfed.by the only trick it had, radar which originally provided 16seconds of team visibility of an enemy ship before the nerf. After the nerf this team visibility got down to 13sec. In other words, you radar a ship in Black and it will take 6 seconds until your radar is rendered to provide visibility to your teammates. After that your teammates will only have 13s. to shoot and that is the ones that are in range, the ones who have their guns already pointed at the right direction and the ones with around 13s reload. If these conditions aren't met, and it is only you shooting at the ship you have radared, you'll have 19 secs of shooting time. If it is an enemy DD, it will most probably run out of your radar det. range anyway. But short answer to your comment is, yes there has been a nerf recently.

So, do you suspect or did you read it?

Reading is indeed a great skill, cause the article does not state anywhere that you can earn more Tokens by playing.

Exactly my point. 

First part tells you that you can buy one Token for one Dubloon and that you need 24K total.

The second part tells you that you can also earn 2.5k Tokens via Portal missions. 

 

There is no mention whatsoever of earning Tokens through ingame missions.

Maybe your confusion is due to the word "also". In that sentence "also" means, other than spending doubloons...

---> "Other alternative to doubloons is playing the portal campaign which will give you maximum 2500 tokens out of 24,000 tokens". For the rest of tokens you need to spend money/doubloons or wait until it is available in the coal section.

In any case, don't get hyped for Black. You may want it for your collection but it is far from its heydays.I'd say don't spend a penny for it but wait for coal version to come out if you're gonna get it.
