Well, being pedantic, Dutch cruiser airstrikes can damage a sub ... when it's on the surface, but so can everyone else ... with gun fire.

But, yes, Dutch cruisers have no counter to a submerged sub.

Having said that, cruiser ASW airstrikes are such short range that the Dutch ones are not missing out on much.

Actually, it would be quite nice to give Dutch cruisers ASW airstrikes with the same range as their conventional ones.

That would then give the Dutch cruisers an actual role - ASW cruiser.

Something that, at the moment, is a job best performed by BBs.

Unlike most players here i think...i actually LIKE submarines and prefer playing with them in the game. Can it not be organised in such a way that those who want to play with submarines have access to certain games and not others and people can choose?

That is all I ask for. Hate subs in every way, and all I wanna is possibility that we can choose if we wish or we don't wish to play with them or against them. WG should put them in some new mode of game, not in random/ranked, but new mode with all ships and subs and who wish play - then go there.

Absolute stupidity reintroducing subs, they are way overpowered and surface so rarely hitting them is a joke, depth charges do minimal damage and they are wat to fast. I swear to god i'm not spending a cent with WG until the arrogant idiots listen to players.

You cannot blame the players but just like with super ships they are curious to try them. And just like that you have rather new unexperienced players or players who did not understand the basics of the game after 10.000 battles sailing along in the most powerful ships. But just like super ships incompetent subs mostly sink and do nothing else. And they make a dramatic long journey out of games that are already lost on the loading screen when the rest of the team is trying to win. All games with super ships and subs were such games yesterday. GG on allowing players immediate access to tier X and XI. This is like the dumbest idea ever WG and you are really motivated to repeat them over and over again. GG also on "collecting data" from such games to ruin the live servers even more.

Why do you keep trying to hammer that square peg into a round hole? 

Player base says they don't want subs, WG says they value our feedback and give us subs.

Why bother with the forums and feedback when you obviously don't care what we think?

Maybe it's time to boycott wg till until they understand, that we DO NOT WANT @#˘* subs. We really don't. If wg wants them, keep them in sub matches, but not in random. If they stay in random, ill DELETE the game. Many others will too...

Can't understand why wg likes to make its own playerbase angry.

i don't get all the hate here...
played for like 8h today and had a great time playing subs.
not that easy to survive when you get hunted down but the issue is that nobody ever bothers to do that and then complains in chat about subs being crap..

I wonder, who is that "we"? I want @#˘* subs, other (NOT EVERY!) players want them. Since this ship game really needs to break that WOT style meta (playing WOT is still an option for those who like it).

U dont get the point. Play your beloved subs in SUB matches, but keep random battles clean. And if wg prefers to favor the 1/5, so be it, with all the consequences.

I have enjoyed playing again since subs were removed.

 

But I will not play random battles with submarines in them, EVER.

I have not seen subs in Ranked battles, so at the moment I will play ranked only.

 

I have some premium account time left.

But once that is gone, I will not spend one more penny on your game.

Your continued pushing of subs into the games, proves beyond doubt that you do not give a monkeys t____ for your own player base.
