Just....why?? Oh yes you had to test all sorts of abominations instead of respecting the game and the players

There are soo many ways to bring back its former (relative) glory and meaning. Institute a frakkin qualification round before the actual sprint  and between. institute a frakkin rule that only the first 3-4 get a star during that, the others just don't lose it.

Why you had to kill off this mode??

WHY Wedgie just why?

When there is nothing else to complain about WG, just create some random reason to complain.

Blame the bad playerbase that is lazy and doesn't give a damn to try playing better. Many of them grind in ranked, playing recklessly like in randoms.

I don't. It is indeed convenient to do that but no. There are people who play causally and just want to shoot some ships. It is who offers the possibility (or perhaps don't) is to blame. Although now that I finally managed to advance things seems to change for the better.

Such people have to know their abilities and know what the mode is for. But it's something else. Maybe some of them are as you described. But most? They wanna grind the ship and (by some miracle that someone else will carry their rear end) will get some wins and steel rewards. Very convenient. But they don't bring anything useful, having stock hulls, no upgrades cause broke and not trained commander so his skills don't work. Brilliant. I also was playing the game in the early days and I also struggled with commanders sometimes and stock ships. But I knew that taking such ship into ranked is bad idea. But yeah, those people are kinda different breed than I , or maybe they're just egoistic and opportunistic.

That is contrary to Wedgie's interests. Would you play a game where you are "second class citizen"? Yeah.....Still the problem is that measures to dumb down the game  are actively promoted.

I can identify with people who play for fun. But for me that involves me trying to do my best. We are humans and we are not the same ,however trying to give everybody something is literally the ABC of the servicing industry .

Sounds like something flamu would do.

Well, it’s ok to play ranked while you’re drunk, but it’s not so ok to post in the forums afterwards.

to fix ranked there is only one solution.

Remove all rewards be it xp, credits and steel. Make a clear ranking system that openly and publicly shows the stats of players.

THEN only the ones who care about being top of such list will play and all the people who want some grind/steel/camo will stay away

And the ones like to play without divisions?

1 CV per team of 12 is broken enough, but 1 per 7 is lunacy if you take the average player skill in ranked into account. But well, spamming enough battles for 12 victories is easy enough; I estimate it should be possible to be "in" up to 4 ranked battles at the same time if you die at the first opportunity.

Enemy Weser was trying to hit me with AP rockets for the entire game's duration. Of course the average CV potato will lose the game for his team, but if you are not too bright in the first place and can't hit an island if you try hard, then permaspotting a DD is probably the upper limit of your contribution scale.
