The real Iwami this is not, but it looks like a modernised Nagato class BB.

Exactly what i thought, this one looks more like Nagato clone with a bit of torps and buffs sprinkled on top

So a GK hull with Quad turrets, which are probably  even wider then the GK triple turrets, which means even worse firing angles than GK with 20k less health.

 

Seems to be accurate though, range is not bad (for a German BB) and has 76mm HE pen and the HE DPM is 138240 which would make it the 4th highest TX BB in the game. Fires per Minute would be 10,3 which is the 3rd highest for TX BBs.

I guess it could work as a long range HE Spammer that can brawl if the need arises since it has torps and turtleback. But who knows.

so the game is in the end of life phase now. endless gear grind threadmill (let's face it, ships are gear) with no new content to use them in. this is usually the sign of a developer that lost any drive or vision for their game and is just extending the inevitable.

This is all a bit average, really.

 

I know every nation has to have a Supership but for the RN I'd rather it was something based off Drake and Goliath than Minotaur. 

 

Mecklenburg looks like another in the increasingly similar high-tier German BB lineup and the Iwami is just a juiced up Mutsu. Which is fun enough, but I'll need to see the firing angles on those torpedoes before it sounds like anything more than a bad idea to turn and fire them.

Iwami looks amazing ! A late 30s refit of Amagi or Tosa.
I love Amagi, still holds my T8 record. Looking forward to this one for sure ! Finally not a downgrade of a silver ship one tier lower like they always did with IJN premium BBs ;)

 

About Mecklenburg. Lets wait. I guess WG will swing the Nerfhammer at it. Looks to good to be german.

Youre right, its a FDG. Firing angles will still be garbage though considering Pommerns firing angles are just as bad or even worse than GK (3° better forward  43° vs 46°, backwards 5° worse 40° vs 35°)

German quad turrets on the same hull that has been re-used about 5 times now... Not only are they hideous, they will have garbage firing angles. Why not give germans high caliber, accurate dual turrets? You know, the actual german design philosophy since the first world war...

Guess germans cannot have accurate guns, since we all know that the fantastic soviet navy, that totally existed, had the most accurate rail guns ever conceived.

 

The british cruiser is literally the antithesis to the Sh*tropavladovsk, since it looks like a skycraper. Highly doubt that is an actual design.

 

The japanese one looks at least feasible.

 

Overall... Too many ships, especially for all these special resources. Endless grind in a stagnant game.

Yep its like in all the MMORPG-s out there (and some other like Diablo series as well) you get through the story and quests in few weeks/moths and all that remains to do if the devs dont make new one is grinding that 5% better set or pair of boots or sword or whatnot = boring...

 

Ad WG devs REALL and I mean REALLY REALLY dont like to work on new content, much easier to just pump out premiums and an occasional line that they try to monetize to the max...

But nope!! Low caliber guns have to be the norm for the Germans!! And why not 38cm? You know, to actually be somewhat feasible after Brandenburg->Pommern? It would make sense to have 38cm, even 35cm guns. German 305mm is not a particularly stellar weapon
