We should be able to sell or buy other players' ships on auction

I had "Le Terrible" premium French destroyer from crates. I just didn't like it, so I sold it for credits.

But it would be nice if we could sell our ships for doubloons, coal, steel, free EXP etc. I mean why not? If you have a ship that you don't like, why not just sell it to some other player on auction?

Not just the ships, but captains, camo and equipment too. We need a Free Market.

I think this feature would make the game much more interesting and dynamic.

And the award for the worst idea of the year goes to..

You keep your filthy hands off my ships and captains, I worked hard to acquire them.

Circumventing WGs cash cow that will never happen

I know, but I think in the end Wargaming would earn even more money then now.

People would be much more engaged in the game, it would attract some new players also and keep existing ones etc.

Well, you don't have any ship that I want anyway, so my offer is no longer valid. Thank you for understanding.

Best regards

Your offer wasn't worth the paper it was written on anyway. Also you might want to recheck, specifically the ships I've played in co op.:Smile-_tongue:

Although it wont happen I like the idea of having an auction house where you dump premium ships you just don't like for big fat whales to drool over and you coin the dubs in its a win win for WG and the player and the Whale.

That is the only part of his idea that makes even the slightest bit of sense.

Of course the way he put the rest of it made it sound like that he'd want to be able to buy other people's  ships and stuff without ASKING first..

Auctions were a part of World of Tanks already and it's clear WG wants to bring more of those in the future.

I say you may expect an "in with the old out with the new" system soon. WoT has an event where you basically lose a tank you didn't want to get a discount for another tank you might want. I believe if you give like 3 tanks you can get 1 of same tier tank. I wouldn't mind something like that myself ngl.

You are funny.

How is that supposed to work that WG earns more money with that?

Actually I think he is right they would.

If a bidding system was in place and lets say you put your Kami up for auction the people buying it might spend 100k dubs we know this because a Fujin sold for $300 last year by WG , An auction house that players could use to buy and sell ships would attract a great deal of interest not just from players but from profiteers as well , If you also add in WG take 20% like auction houses do it could work.

We know its fantasy but hey its a great idea imo.

And the people who got the Dubloons for the sale could now buy a lot of stuff from WG without spending money.

And now imagine what happens to the prices of ships that are still in the shop. Do you think anyone would offer more? No, people would buy the ships for less. WG would earn less money and the people who sell their ships do not need to spend money to buy new stuff, leading to even less income for WG.

Only way for WG to make some money out of it would be heavy tax (like 50%) on those transactions. This way they could benefit from sells off old premiums without flowing market with more of those.

I fully agree and support this idea, my first action would be to sell @El2aZeR's Enterprise for AA signals.:Smile_trollface:

Edit: just in case it's not painfully obvious that was a joke.

Why would Wargaming let you buy a ship they've already sold when they could sell you one?

Remember why the game exists.  It's not for your benefit but for Wargaming's
