One of the upcoming game events is a new auction in which you will have an opportunity to obtain a rare ship—Gremyashchy. The distribution of this ship through an auction will give you the ability to replenish your collection. At the same time, the battle balance and situation in combat will remain almost the same, since the lots are not numerous.

Wow this is not good , I received that ship as part of the Beta programme its quite strong even today with all the power creep that's been happing what next Kamikaze , GC the mid tiers will be flooded with op ships and newer players those that cannot afford these ships will be given an even worse experience than they get now by Seal Clubbers who only play these type of ships man some of these people have like a 1000 battles in them and more. That's not to say people cant play them its a free game an all but it defeats the object of WG removing them from the game because they obviously over perform at their tiers by a large margin imho.

Next time:

One of the upcoming game events is a new auction in which you will have an opportunity to obtain nuclear weapons. The distribution of nuclear weapons through an auction will give you the ability to clear the seas by one click. At the same time, the battle balance and situation in combat will remain almost the same, since the lots are not numerous.

Whoever is stupid enough to waste money on a T5 premium deserves to be screwed.

Who even thinks this will stay limited to T5? Have you met Wargaming? ^^

From what I have seen these days, those people who are willing to throw big money at WG usually lack the skill to make proper use of OP ships, so these factors might balance each other. But still, selling ships which have been pulled because even WG felt they were OP to the highest bidder... gold ammo is just one vodka away now.

Being monetarily sucker punched is the standard. No matter how "good" is the offer or "rare" the ship.

I think we all know that this was the main reason to introduce auctions to the game...

Don't see the problem provided the ship numbers involved are low. No reason why I should be able to have OP premium ships just because I was there when they came out, and I'm not convinced anything other than a Kamikaze is an "I Win" button, these days.

another final straw to add to the pile. will the game finally die? Until the next bad thingy WG does.

Technically, WoWs as enjoyable, historically flavored naval game died long time ago. Now you have pursuit of gimmicks, almost fortnite grade "features", as well thorough development of new and fascinating ways of making players part ways with their money:cap_like:

Obviously, if you change your goalpost from "naval enthusiasts who want to shoot each other with boats" to "clueless casuals who open wallet first, ask questions later... or not at all", then game is thriving.

Yeah.. these ships were mostly removed long ago, so how good are they actually in today's meta? Unless people have a clear idea of this and the ships are no longer performing to expectations, they will be duped into spending resources.

Historically significant ships should be re-introduced, but not the way it went with the Missouri...

To be honest, i think if u invest the money you need to win an auction in mega Santa gifts you would have gotten the gremyatschi xD

Yeah well same old same old.  Not suprised, we/you will all lap it up and the wheel turns.

They are confirming that the grem is OP/very strong and thats the carrot.

Defo wont be the first time and certainly wont be the last. When they strip eye watering amounts of credits from you, they will think its a good idea and strip even more from you in the future when it moves to higher tiers, which it will.

Kami is a lot of fun and she’s still got a lot of potential in todays meta, sure CVs are a real threat to her both due to spotting and direct attack, but down at tier 5 most players really don’t know about WASD hacks.

I don’t own a Grem but I have seen several in action recently and they certainly seem very potent still, actually when I’m in my Kami the thing I fear most is a well played Grem.
