Survey about recommending the game to someone else

It's a little overdue, but whatever. Recently WG seriously had the idea to make a survey about how likely I am to recommend the game to someone else. What should I click except for 1/10, lowest, totally unlikely or whatever? Subs and superships in regular gamemodes must be canceled in order to make me consider recommending the game to someone and T10 matches need to be fixed.

WG should abolish the submarine insanity. Iit's 100% obvious that they waste a lot of resources on something that makes the game worse than it would be without subs. It's similar to certain recent restrictions that cause much more harm than the danger they are supposed to contain. I can't recommend the game, if some that makes the game much worse is about to be added permanently. WG could recycle the work on submarines for special event modes.

The next big thing are the superships. Basically T10 players in WOWS oneup stupid E-100 and IS-7 drivers from WOT big time. More or less it's about guaranteed toptier status and a foolproof status from too much powercreep between the tiers. Riga->Petro, Rupprecht->Schliefen, Buffalo->DM, Soyuz->Kremlin... There are lots of great examples for this. Additionally a lot of the worst gamedesign is in this tier, f.e. Thunderer, LU Haku, Roosevelt, Slava. Then you get teamed up with people who are so bad that it looks as if they intentionally make the enemy win meanwhile the enemy T10 are just below average, but the powercreep of their ship carries them. What does that have to do with superships? That issue gets much worse with the superships. There is even more powercreep, even more bad gamedesign and even more retarded users of the superships. Except for one Conde the supership players I was teamed up with should be locked up in a research center for studies on people with negative IQ. High tier matches already were highly problematic with stupid T10 players, but this makes them even worse. How should I recommend the game to someone else when there is a new development that makes being uptiered in T10 battles and T10 battles in general even worse than it used to be?

Is there any supership that got beyond a blueprint? Are there even legitimate blueprints for the current superships? There already is a lot of fantasy in T10, but with the superships this is even worse. This is another reason to stop the supership BS and recycle the work for special gamemodes instead.

In the distant past of WOT such a stupid T10 player needed multiple matches in a T10 premium and a premium account for every match she/it played in a T10 tank. WOWS desperately needs something like this or another mechanic to prevent such people from constantly playing ships of the highest tier.

I guess it's similar to what they say about owners of very big cars when they don't need such a car... I can't remember any T10 match that was decided, because of someone playing well. They allways were about which team loses, because of having more typical T10 players... This really is like Russian Roulette. Ohhh wait, Russian Roulette is gambling.

I would recommend the game to really despicable people, but they would hardly act upon my recommendation.

in all fairness, i havent seen in a sub ever since I picked up the game again two weeks ago

superships on the other hand are more stupidity on WGs part but thats kinda what we can expect from them at this point.

most matches are decided by MM rather than how you actually play. you're the only one with green stats among a sea of yellow and red vs. turqoise and purple

I'd never recommend this game to anyone, unless I hate that person

This is no surprise, because WG have removed their submersible guided missile speedboats from the game for the current patch.

If I got that survey right now, I would give a 5 out of 10. Means I would thoroughly think about whom to recommend.

Well, I dont blame anbody who is pissed by WG at the very moment, but for me personally I dont take the games faults too seriuosly.

The Subs caused a big turmoil and in the end they disappeared silently, because the players did the only thing that has any effect: they did not play them ^^

The Superships are basically the same category: if players dont play them, they will be pulled pout or at least they wont have any effect on the game. In my personal experience up to now I did not have any match, where a supership dictated the match. Yes, they are quite powerful but still rare and could be sunk as good as any other T10.

The carriers caused some uprising, too, but in the end you just get used to it. I play CV rarely and when I do its to test out how the planes behave to fight them as a ship. Its just kind of boring to play.

The matchmaker is very special thing in its own category.

Its a WG thing, always was and always will be. Of course its frustrating if you are part of the potatoeteam, but they dfinitely will not introduce a skillbased mm. We can take that for granted.

If that is a problem, there is only one solution: delete that mods which show the stats. I did that a long time ago and I am playing with a lot more free mind.

If anything really bothers me its the monetization.

I am playing Worldoftanks for 10 yeras now but warships just went over the top right now with selling T9 and T10 ships shamelessly.

As a whale a part of me likes that, but having a few no-clue-T10 in a match and losing in less than 5 minutes is a frustrating experience.

So yes, back to topic: i would think about a recommendation very carefully, but I still would do that to the right people.

I really would not recommend WoWs to anyone, as I am tired of the aggravation and will largely stop playing it on March 4.

I would also not recommend the game to anyone. It’s designed to get you hooked and spend your money, but in a way that it frustrates you uneccessary. You cannot avoid frustration even by spending money, but the business model is to lure you into spending while you are clueless that it brings you nothing, or to get you hooked on a level that you buy stuff you don’t need. Even if you’re stingy and don’t spend money, you spend an awful lot of time playing the game designed to make you play more than you would do just for fun.

Regarding the subs, it’s shaping to be the class for inexperienced or unskilled players who enjoy the security of being hidden most of the game.

Regarding superships, currently the biggest issue is that clueless noobs who never grinded that line or class can jump in and ruin the game for others. Especially if you’re grinding T9 tech tree ships, like the FdG, then they make your matches miserable. Add in the clueless DDs who die in the first few minutes, and some elite divisions coming with OP ships, and the revival of Smolensk style HE spamming that we’re about to get with the latest pan Asian line. I had two Smolensks and a couple of Kitas and Harus in the red yeam yesterday, and the match was a miserable experience.

With all the bad image ranked gets, it still the most enjoyable mode for me, shorter matches, steel and gold reward and more enjoyable games with less imbalance and no divisions and more carry potential compared to randoms.

I try to avoid hightier at the moment.

Midtier matches and operations are quite entertaining, still.

T9 and T10 is just a pain, to put it mildly.

Back when this game started I used to really sing it’s praises and encouraging several friends to join, the CV rework drove all but 1 out of the game and even he hardly plays anymore.

With the spectre of submarines on the horizon and the appalling implementation seen this far, there is no way I could or would recommend this game unless I hated the person.

Only yesterday a guy i knew from another game (HEL) asked about our clan in WOWS and if he should join and get involved.

Told him to stay away from it but its his choice at the end of the day (talked about WG shocking recorded and complete disregard of everyone).

I cant in good concious recommend this game to anyone who hasnt been tainted by it.  Such a massive shame but its WG own doing.

It is only becausethere is not any game like this so fare and have i do love the game and if and when a game like this turns up i will go there right away. And one more thing i have stopped recomending this game to friends because their friendship is more appreciated than they getting mad and at over this firm monitarzation nearly every thing in the game.

My friends I have introduced to the game are enjoying it a lot. Salt aside, it is a great free to play game if you like this sort of thing. It is not pay to win and there is no need to spend money on the game, you get lots of good stuff for free. It is important though to separate the game from WG, we are not judging WG here, which a lot of replies are.

Nope. Launch of GT7.

I have two hobbies I am passionate about: warships and cars. The previous version of Gran Turismo, GT Sport, was launched in 2017 and is old now. I didn't play it much anymore.

So WoWs was by default my main game for the past years. However, I hate WG, their greed, arrogance and stupidity. I think WoWs has been on the wrong track for years now and the game, regrettably, is getting worse and worse.

So with the launch of GT7 I have a good alternative and I can at last leave the aggravation of WoWs behind. Polyphony Digital, the producer of GT, is passionate about their product and has a real customer orientation.

Bye bye Wedgie, you will not be missed.

True, just like World of Tanks was a great game at the start, it evolved to a frustrating game and I'm afraid that World of Warships is going the same way. I spend my time and money more and more to other games like World of warcraf regorged for example. It gives me more satisfaction and I can play it for hours. Most of the time, after 2 battles in wows (won or lost doesn't matter) I had enough of it.

I would gladly recommend this to all my ENEMIES... but then, I don't have any enemies.

Honestly, I play this game just for the graphics and some occasional fun. But this game is totally unbalanced and rigged, often very frustrating, so my review is 2/10 (BAD).

In fact, I play this game because many other games that I am interested in are even worse or boring.

Like most mobile device games today. It's rather obvious usually though at least and thus easy to avoid them like the plague covid-22. Obviously a business model that works well enough to keep on surviving, many don't even care if they spend €100 for a week and then move on.

I am amazed how little people care about their money today.

It’s some kind of emergency stress coping psychology, they try to party hard while the world is falling apart around them.

I suppose it goes mostly that shopping makes you happy. A feeling I get at most once a year when I buy some product I've been drooling on for 6 months, while having an eternal debate in my head if it's a good choice or the right price..

Clearly I must be some freak in this regard. Clearly WG knows most like to waste their money.
