Super carriers... But no word of getting our AA back...

Okay. Imagine your current aa(I mean firework show.) But with super cv's roaming the randoms with their JeTs flying over your head. Dropping stuff so fast that you see the end result the moment you join the battle.

But the question remains, are we getting our aa back as well? Or its still fireworks show? Knowing the pattern of wg aka "create problems, sell solutions" we can see some insane aa ship being released as premium. Of course if we get our aa back The SIleNt MaJoRıTY will be moaning so hard that they'll be putting Sasha Grey to shame. What do you guys think?

Probably the next line of cruisers to come out after the super carriers will have somewhat better AA, but it certainly won’t be especially effective. WG have a real issue AA and I don’t see that changing.

I can see myself taking a long *** break after completing the dockyard event. And remember that aa "reloads" before shooting for some reason. So they'll be dropping their payload long before your aa starts to shoot.

Those "tactical" squadrons will enter and leave your AA before a single shot has been fired.

Don’t worry.

At the kind of speed these things are flying at, they will out run all flak and take very little continuous AA.

With 6000hp it’s a guaranteed strike even into a division of Austins! Probably.

Internet explorer user detected :fish_book:. Also in case you haven't noticed, WG changed AA rate of fire to match server tickrate YEARS ago, so technically "guns start unloaded" yes, but loading time is 0.28s. And jets aren't going to cover 6-7km in that kind of time. Heck, 340kts, or 630km/h isn't particularly fast for showcased F9Fs to begin with.

WG : To provide an effective counter to super-carriers we are introducing premium AA ammunition. :Smile_trollface:

If you look at the single Bomber from the Superships it is a single plane with 6000 health. If they were to buff AA enough to have a chance of shooting down that thing in the short timeframe it will even be in AA range no other carrier would be usable any more (Fine with me, btw.).

But they will sell you a ship with slightly better AA, maybe with 2k Flak explosions that might kill that bomber when he circles over your ship for 10 minutes. Only 20k dubs, very cheap, you buy fast - limited offer!

Your question is seriously wrong. We can see, that the carriers are getting more and more broken (FDR, russian fantasy crap, now these new pucks) - so the best question:

When the class will be removed from the game entirely or a separate battle mode will be announced for them?

I think I am done with this :etc_swear:.

Or, switch to play Co op instead. Like many normal players did, after quiting PvP after weegee ruined.

Can't stand coop, it's even more boring and repetitive then glorious CV gameplay.

Maybe turn to  low tier seal clubbing persuading newcomers to leave before their first 80 euro premium?

Co op is boring, true. But less boring when you compare it to other choices; playing Random or even worse,  Ranked.

Co op is less depressive to play.

Maybe, but why would I play if there is no fun? There are so many other games and multum other nice things to do with my free time.

Unless WG would pay me but they are  expecting me to pay for "fun and engaging", dubious privilege of being target practice for omnipotent griefers.

Except rookies play in their own MM pool until +-200 battles or tier 5 I think?

Yeah, but those 200+ are still rookies, especially as before they've played games with 1-2 real players a side + bots.

Omaha or T22 are good clubbing boats, not worse then Clemson:cap_haloween:

And you think they will have the capacity to realize they are being seal clubbed? Because I doubt newcomer will realize gravity of names like Nikolai, Kamikaze or Gremyashchy.

No, I will hope that they read chat (I know I am naive:cap_haloween:) and I will warn them to not to spend any money.

I will club them with silver ships, not OP premiums, to not advertise them:cap_haloween:

Every one convinced will be a success.

That is if I will bother to play at all...

Tip: If you angle your ship and press "O" your AA will melt aircraft coming towards you.

It's not hard. :)

Have you tried opening your (appartment) windows and then closing them again? Also I think you need to spin counterclockwise 3 times, and scream "Gagaga!" at the top of your lungs (preferably at someone in uniform like the mailman or a police officer). Also make sure that it is a full moon. But then you will melt planes like there is no tomorrow. Because the procedure above unlocks the secret laserpointer consumable that you can then point at the pilot's eyes ingame.

Nope, no melting planes. I am however summoned by the police to come out with my hand above my head and walking backwards.......

Should we going down the “cartoon” approach with CV planes

Such as painting a fake tunnel on an island which they can fly through but just crash into the terrain

Or deploying cardboard cut outs of our ships that they can attack and use their ordinance on

Both are more effective than AA
