Give us more COAL from resource boxes

I want to say something about resource boxes in the game. First of all, as far as I heard from my environment and according to my daily experience, there are no more than 400 coals from the resource boxes. In the past, even 1200 coals came out easily from a single box, but now I saw 800 coals 1 week ago for the last time. I can't understand the stinginess with these resource boxes. Please do not make such stealthy exchanges and make sure that at least 800 coals come out of the resource boxes. Because if we chose to open a resource box, other things should not come out of that box any more. If I wanted more banners, I would open a banner box, but the resource boxes are getting more banners than coal. I hope someone here hears us and they fix this [edited].

Got 2 x 800 coal Resource Containers yesterday, so I personally see no change.

And, if they were to suddenly make Resource Containers more generous how exactly should long term players who slogged their way through to obtain coal ships feel?

those container are called 'more resources' and not 'resources', and that's what you get, more coals and free XP than from the other container types...

Guys, there are those who write that this situation is normal, but the abnormal thing is that although there was a lot of coal for me and everyone I knew in the game, there has been a noticeable decrease in the number of coals coming from the boxes, especially since September.

those container are called 'more resources' and not 'resources', and that's what you get, more coals and free XP than from the other container types...

Also, I think xp should not be considered as a resource. The source is coal and steel, that's it.

Free xp cannot be a more valuable resource than coal because you can win free xp every match, but you can only earn coal from resource boxes and rare quests.

Do you have actual numbers for this or is it based on your feelings? I have not noticed any change at all. It is called randomness and being unlucky. People always remember the bad drops more than the good drops.

Well I looked back and over the last 100 Resource crates:

5 x 1200 coal
21 x 800 coal
74 x 400 coal


December 2020, when I was still grinding for coal:

6 x 1200 coal

19 x 800 coal

75 x 400 coal

That's a negligible change if any.  WG are guilty of many things but I'm not seeing this one as an issue.

Hello. I can only confirm, that there were no changes to these mechanics and they still work the same.

Container with more resources means, that there will be more resources including Coal and FreeXP, while you have assured, that first slot will be filled with Coal.

There are also plenty other options, how to get some coal in game - it can be through various missions, or it is usually main reward in Brawls for example.

Those are my stats and they match the intensity of play for me in the year... :Smile_honoring:

 

As you can see the year has 365 days x3 containers = 1.095 MAX containers per year.

 

I got 807 containers (i.e. around 80% of maximum).

 

If I played (and I did - due to work and various other reasons) more in the first half of the year then the occurrences of 1.200 Coal drops (i.e. 3x) would be higher than in the later part of the year... also this is all within the boundaries of statistical error.... IMHO there is no foul play here at all...  :Smile_hiding:

It it not a change, it is probability theory because you do not get guaranteed drops.

this is what i want to say. While at least 2*400 coal and 3*400 coal were issued to me in January, February, March, April and May, but now I saw 3*400 for the last time 2 months ago. 2*400 did not come even once a week.

I forgot to add that in the time above I got 3 "Super Containers" from "More Resources"

I wonder....In 6 years i had ONLY 7 supercontainers with random/resources boxes and you had 3 in a month? How bizzare... Not to mention that in those 7 supercontainers no ship was in it...

The most bizzare in the descroption of the last option in boxes that says you have more chances to have a ship thatn others (what others does that text mean when allother boxes NEVER give a ship)?
