What are the unique voice commanders in the game?

 The 3 out of 4 warhammer commanders
The Autobots commanders (Bubmblebee , Optimus Prime, Megatron, Rumble)
Most ARP/Azure Lane girls
the "Bad Advice" commander
the "santas" commanders

Now i know there is this german unique voice commander named 
Johhanes Meck-Leyne which i intend to get. And is voiced by the famous german actor named Manfred Lehmann.

What about the rest of them "event" commanders (aka )
Theodore E. Chandler
Matsuji Ijuin
Friedrich Bonte
Vladimir Trubetskoy
Horace Hood 

Do these also have unique voices like Johhanes Mech-Leyne? Or  not?

Especially because players keep spamming the commands. I also find moaning weeb preschool girls annoying.

 

Is there a way to turn them off completely?

Well, the logbook doesn't say who posesses unique voiceset though. I am interested only for the unique voices. Thats why i haven't included Yamamoto Isoroku and the special skills captains.

Anime commanders have unique voice. Some of them are lovely.

Special skills commanders don't have their own specific voice.

Yeah initialy i forgot. Added them later. Got most of those. But anyone has that Theodore E. Chandler captain? Does he sound different? That's all i am asking. If the commenders of the screenshot have unique voices like Johhanes Meck-Leyne that is in fact the german actor Manfred Lehmann

No idea if he has some unique voice. WG should implement such a note if a commander has unique voice in the commander description when you click on him.

I am not sure. I have the voices on the National+ setting so depending on which ship i am the captain speaks on the language of that country. It's more immersive like this for me. Now the special captains, i have no idea how to deactivate their unique voices but they are interesting. As for Bumblebee and also Rumble , they are good to put into squishy ships , their voice keeps you more "alert" you know. Kinda reminds you how squishy your little ship is. So try them on destroyers and cruisers.

The best Thing about the Transformer captains is that they also play their own music, a Feature that I do enjoy quite well.

 

Apart from that the Warhammer 40k captains also have unique voiceovers and I really do like the imperial one.

Well after some more dig into it, i come to conclude that the other 5 captains next to Johhanes Meck-Leyne that is in fact the german actor Manfred Lehmann , posess NO special voice. Since those 5 are from the "Historical commanders" event and are  unique only in the sense that their names were names of actual heroic captains. If they had unique voices they would probably say it.

Ok so i just got Johhanes Meck-Leyne. He is the only one with unique voice. It just "happens" to be placed naxt to the 5 "historical captains" in the armory so that gave me the initial impression they might also have unique voices since all of those are describes as "event" on the thumbnail info window. But this is not the case. So only Johhanes Meck-Leyne has the unique voice. The other 5 are just named after actual captains. And that's about it. Mystery solved.

Nope, standard USN voice for Theodore E. Chandler.

But Frederica Greenhill (from one of the anime collabs) has her own Japanese voice lines.

You can turn off the voiceover of special content captains by de-activating said content, the same way you do for camouflage. For example if you untick the Azur Lane box:

It replaces any azur lane skin by the default one of the ship, and changes the captain to a generic one, which also standardizes the voiceover. (it is not devinitive, it is an overlay, they would turn back to azur lane content if you tick the option again)

This is applicable to any category/collab that includes special voiceover.

Overall, the voiceovers and voicelines for the commanders are a bit inconsistent, which is sad. Most weeb commanders are uniquly voiced with unique lines, some special commanders like Dasha are fully voiced but only have a few unique lines, same as ComRichard which is strangely missing some lines (like the smoke creen activation and completion) that just get replaced by your own voice settings. The Santa commanders are again different because they only change the battle announcements, not your commanders voice or lines.

 

Its a mess.

It's a mess indeed. And you can't really tell if a commander has unique voice-over prior to purchasing them. 

 

Also, the Santa Commanders all seem to use the default US voice-over, rather than using national voice-overs. They only have a battle announcement at the start of the game in their nations language, it seems.

 

I still don't know if the KOTS-commanders have any unique voice-overs, I suspect they don't. Don't even know if they're using the national voice-overs.
