The era of bbs has ended lads, like it or not.

I used to love playing bbs. Now I'm a cruiser main. I'm not having fun while playing bbs. Because it feels like you are there to be a exp pinata for other people. CV dunks on you, cruiser burns you, dd torps you(if you're a 100% straight liner ofc), do I have to mention subs?

 

Weeks ago I bought HMS Mainz, and that ship made me a cruiser main. It's a perfect ship for lighthouse build. It has the armor and hp to tank some damage. All you have to do is build her to dance in the ocean. Cruisers are actually the king of the game now(not counting the final boss,cv) You can farm bbs, counter dds and sometimes subs. I love the ability to outdamage bbs in my he spamming cruisers. It sometimes makes me sad. Because the bb player can't do anything. Some of their shot miss, some overpen, and sometimes completely dev strike you if you're not careful. WASD hacks and awareness is the key while playing cruisers, and trust me, you can change the outcome of the game really easy with a cruiser(again not counting the cv)

BBs are still the easiest class to play besides CVs. You need a braincell for aiming and a braincell for situational awareness. Sadly most players lack the latter.

They sometimes know how to aim to begin with, but ok i'd say.

I play mostly Battleships followed closely by Cruisers and then Destroyers and I will keep it that way.

Both BBs and Cruisers are still fun to play

Sure you can be outplayed or get a bad Team but that didn´t stop me from having fun..

So I would say have fun playing both Cruisers and Battleships or every other Class that you like.

Even Subs and CVs

Your Kutuzov has nearly 300 battles (Most battles in general) more than your second most played cruiser Murmansk.

 

Go play some cruiser who require more active playing than sitting in smoke farming.

 

Everyone claiming BBs being bad these days must be playing another game.

No class is as braindead as BB.

In my opinion Cruisers on average are the worst class to counter subs. Soon their radar will not even see them.

Agree with the others, BBs are fine and easy.

Agree with the others, BBs are fine and easy.

Short range depth charge planes or straight drop depth charges that require you to suicide into the enemy.

When I came back I played BB's only, I used to be a DD/CA/CL main. I like the relaxed playstyle of BB's, never did before. In my last BB match I got double focused by 2 VIII carriers (again), my until then perfectly happy mood plummeted into stinky disgust. Uninstalled the game, again ^^

Were it not for the absolutely broken overpowered mess that is the CV class, BBs would be the most powerful and easy to play class. They are capped to 2 in competitive for a reason.

I must agree more or less with you. I prefer to play my supercruisers to any battleship I have

Cruisers suck. They might punish garbage nonsniper battleship, but that's a job anything can do.
