WG customer support being toxic and ignoring feedback

Support is not there for you to give suggestions. You can post suggestions on the forum. So you only have yourself to blame for putting it in the wrong place.
But you will get roughly the same answers here: skill-based matchmaking will not work with a playerbase as small as this one. WG has somewhat shaped up recently, but they are still making mistakes.

Not to mention, you don't even have much right to complain, your stats are going up, not down. You had one bad streak in Ranked. Learn to live with it.

Bruh. Bruh.

It's not that I don't share your frustration, but what did you expect? As far as they're concerned, the MM works as intended, or at least it's "good enough" for their needs. You can't force help on other people if they don't want it. Nevermind how well your code snippet would mesh with the spaghetti that is WOWS and what nightmare problems it would probably lead to.

WG sees customers as a moneh farm. Our concerns, wishes and desires are of no interest to them. They will (mis)treat us as they see fit.

You do not accept their answer and they do not accept anymore tickets of yours about the topic.

Where is the problem?

  • If there is no MM, how do you get into a match then? Does it get willed into existence by someone or does there exist code that tells you which players go into which match?
  • all the stats in the world do not help you, when the unicum on your team has a bad day, is unlucky, gets called away, etc...
  • MM by winrate is a VERY bad idea, which you could have know if you informed yourself about the topic, as it changes the metric you use to setup matches - when everyone is around 50% WR, how is the MM supposed to work? It will be as random as before

even though it sound nice ,but current wait time would be hours. even now i wait sometimes long to get into game. it just wouldnt work.and probably bad players would quit completly from the ranked.

about toxic things, just mute chat, i did it and now i enjoy the game.

or take a break from the game, maybe you are trying too hard.

At least on EU servers, the wait time is miniscule, and bad players would just be matched against bad players.

Chat is already muted, but - and I dont know why - on same days I unmute it in ranked, as it is ranked after all, but yea... what to expect.
Just look at some of the above answers... its quite sad.

Sorry, I guess I have mistaken the "send suggestions" option as the option to send suggestions.
I dont know how I could be that blind. Of course the only way is the forum, not the dedicated support ticket option!

The argument about the "small" player base is years old at this point, and not really up-to-date anymore.
30k players, nearly 50k on EU servers at peak times, is more than enough to get this working - but what do I know.

I dont accept to get *edit* Sorry that, I for one, find this not a reasonable behaviour towards paying customers.
If youre alright with that it might explain, why they can do this...

Customer support has better things to do than listen to your suggestions. Like handing out chat bans. And I have not seen 50k at peak times in ages. Highest I have seen recently is 29k-ish. In December. That is a drop in the ocean compared to the games that have skilled-based matchmaking. And why should anyone wait longer in queue just to drift closer to 50% with every battle they play? It would completely dilute the usage of statistics to balance the game and determine decision making... It would negatively impact people like you and I, who already have winrates way above 50%. You had literally one bad nine game streak in Ranked. So what. Learn to live with it instead of pushing ideas that people have suggested a thousand times like it is the Second Coming that will save WoWs.

If they really said that, you should contact a community manager.

You can translate yourself if needed.

*edit*

Not exactly what you wrote, not even a translation of that, but indeed that is quite rude.

not what you quoted

The connotation of that phrasing is certainly equal to a *edit* (atleast) and not at all a professional reply.

If i call you a '[edited]', i'm not at all refering to a female bodypart ...

Than lets disuss this in German....

"*edit*" vom Support ist nicht okay, egal wie der Themenstarter dies im Anfangspost auf englisch umschrieben hat.

("*edit*" from support is not okay, no matter how the topic starter described it in English in the opening post.)

The context, and the circumstance of this expression is more fitting with *edit* than with "shut up".
You cant translate words 1 by 1 and expect to have a fitting translation of what was said...
