Santa Mega containers no steel?

Hello,

I opened about 190 mega containers and basically got what i wanted and i am very happy about it but after reading a few posts about the containers drops i just realized that i did not get any steel from the containers, I got enough coal to buy a unique commander but 0 steel, does this have to do because i only play random battles?

Why do you think there could be steel? It is not listed in the rewards:

You only get steel if you have all the ships in the list. Subsequent ship drops will give you steel.

Ah that must be it, not that i care about steel but it was very odd to me that in 190 Mega crates not a single steel drop

Apparently that someone did not have only Napoli, Yoshino and Hayate from the list of possible drops, so the fourth container that would normally give him a ship gave him the steel compensation.

Santa crates have always been great value if you own all the low tier and common ships.

Yeah, you need to have all the ships on the list first. I got about 15k steel from 136 containers, the majority of which were gifted or free.

190 mega containers (you only can have max 14 free mega containers (?)). Rich men and their rich men problems. 

 

Have to say I'm a little bit jealous. Jealous on how you can spend your money. Not on what you have spend your money. That was stupid.

I stopped reading at the '190' mega containers part. To have that kind of money to spend in a single go must be an absolute dream, lol.

I am not rich by any means, i just recently got my yearly bonus from work and decided to spent some of it in a game i really like.

I am really glad i got Thunderer in the 170th crate i opened otherwise i would have spent more...

I am very fortunate to live and work in a high income country, i worked a lot this year so much that as of today i only had 1 week vacation the whole year.

One should be completely free in choice how to (legally) spend his own money. That being said, with such people and their decisions, this game will only degenerate further into blatant monetization.

 

In other words, such behavior is devastating for the market (and I am not thinking here only about about F2P/P2W online games). Sadly, we can only stare at it, and enjoy while it lasts...

I don't understand what the problem is, why would anyone care how i spend my money?

The dude saying that it's because of people like me that he can play for free, while having on his account 287 ships, 87 premiums among those, unless i am missing something you can't get all those ships for free.

Not begrudging you your spend matey, no probs there at all. I was only imagining how nice it must be to be able to do that, haha, and by the sounds of it by working so much you deserve it. If you're ok with it, that's all that matters :)

It's your money ofcourse but some persons look at the amount and can't (or won't) spend that much on Wows are persons having problems themself. If you can afford it just keep doing it as it's your fun!

Playing free from 6 years everyday you can get a LOT of premiums due all kind of free stuff events rewards ect.

It is nice to have some money at disposal and spend it where you want, i assure you if i couldn't i wouldn't, also i might regret spending all that money to get Thunderer, played 6 battles, 1 win 5 losses so far :(
