To illustrate this latter point, in my first 50 boxes on my main account (mostly Mega and Big; a mixture of freebies and bought) I got 4 ships, and then got 3 in the final 11 (those 3 within 4 boxes opened). My first 13 boxes were entirely bereft of ships, and I had a run of 17 that were ship-free later on too...

Well said, also in the lower tiers don’t forget that there are a lot of ships that you are unlikely to play or enjoy, this doesn’t have to be bad ships, just ships that you wouldn’t like, an example would be if you are a DD main, would you enjoy a warspite, which is objectively a good ship? I would work out how many ships on the drop list you would actually like before buying.  Do NOT just rely on £ per ship calculations.

The only snag is that I'm struggling to not think of her in terms of the 'other' meaning of the word; the notion that she is 'USS Sh4gging' has embedded itself in my (puerile) brain and won't go away...

As preliminary remark: At the beginning of the event, only 3 T7 and 7 T8 were missing from the list. Agincourt dropped in a SC one day before the event. 

 

Bought 20 Mega crates: Expected three ships, got T7 and T8 each (Hyuga, Congress)

Then 7 Mega crates from certificates: expected one ship, got three; the last two T7 (howdy Yukon and Florida) plus Tone. Yay!

Hoped for Tiger '59 and bought 20 Large crates. expected two ships and got one (Belfast '43) and camos in 14 (!) slots.

Bought as final resolve 8 Mega: hoped for one or two ships and got Flandre and Borodino.

 

Called it a day, even without my second target Tiger '59 (beside Tone).

 

So in total 35 Mega crates (28 bought, 7 free) and 20 Large crates. Based on the probabilties I would have expected 8 ships (6 from Mega, 2 from Large). Got 8 (7+1), additionally

180d Premium

2500 Gold

37.5k Coal

495 special signals

lot of camos.

Quite happy.

 

BTW, Tiger '59 dropped from a small crate from Twitch in the evening.

Final tally for this year. Checked my bankaccount. WG can buy € 200 worth of extra vodka this December.

My doubloons are around 7k now, down from 15k ish. 

Bought 11 phase pack Malbourough.
Premium days: have 410 days now, maybe 20 before. That 1% droprate for premium days is rigged.

 

Premiums:

T6 Ise & Mysore ( the Mysore being the only  ingame certificate free ship) 

T7 Hyuuga, Florida, Yukon, München. 
T8 Constellation , Congress,  Orkan, Flandre, Belfast 43.

T9 Marco Polo, Neustrashimy ( saves me atleast a lot of coal)

T10 Hayate ( saves me 2 m FXP) was the only drop from 20 megacrates, I did curse and went back to 20 big ones which promptly gave 5 T8/T9’s….

Enough camo ( sold) to finance Vermont and C. Colombo.

T5-T7 are “ cleared” although that new German dd, Canarias, Dido, Bearn are ready to be released into the pool.

T8: only ships left I really do not want. Borodino, Tiger, Fenyang, Tone, Chkalov, Rochester

T9 : Coal ships left :z44 ( just 100k coal needed, will be my next buy) + the 3 newest coal ships recently released.
T10 Only Smalland remains.

Got one Mega box from certificates and it dropped 180 days of premium. Nice. I am actually quite happy. 

Other free small boxes (incl. one from certificate) produced usual stuff - camos and flags.

I bought a pack of 8 megas, along with 1 mega and 1 large from certs.

 

I got:

- crappy camo type A x20

- crappy camo type B x28 (20, 8)

- Asian lantern x5

- Special flags x30

- 2500 doubloons

- Arizona

- Flandre

 

I turned the 2500 doubloons into 2 more megas and got:

- camos x20

- Musashi

Spent £10 for gold and bought 3 biggest crates. Got 20 camo and 2x20 dragon flags. I find it a fail. My son spent his 1000 gold, accumulated from various sources, and got Haida (he bough one mid and one small crate). Lesson learned - don't spend money for crates.

Which means I got around double the worth of goods from RNG boxes, plus a good stock of camouflages and some special flags. One can argue that Lazo is also available for coal in the armory and T6 BB/T7 cruisers are not in a healthy position in terms of MM, but I still got more from the boxes that I spent on them.

Totally Random as anticipated. My 25 Certificates utilised on 5 Mega Containers. Total received 55 camos- not great.

But what gets me everytime is not enough SILVER to even enjoy the new ships.

 

I rake in about 300k + every game but still upgrades cost to much. (And i tweak to much).

 

So here's my sting, WHY ISNT THE OF AMOUNT SILVER NEEDED FOR UPGRADES INCLUDED WG?????
