An expensive 16-barrelled shotgun doesn't entice me to spend, spraying shells all over the place is disgusting. It's already not something that I'm enjoying in the French Lyon, so this Dockyard is not an offer for me. Repulse shall be the stop.

I was born in Marlborough, I spent most of my childhood in Marlborough, I have relatives in Marlborough and I live 15 minutes away, I WILL NOT be taking part in the dock yard event, I’m sick of the constant dockyard events which get longer and longer and always cost, and point of doing grind when total friggin idiots ruin games / enjoyment??.

It's not about Marlborough in Wiltshire, though. (Lovely town, btw). The ship is named after the Duke of Marlborough (Blenheim Palace, the Spencer-Churchills and the Marquiss of Blandford).

Did not yet miss one DY event.
 

1.Started badly with the PR event, got caught in the hype, think PR is not bad but a poor T10 Alaska.

2. Odin, the T8 with a T5 HP. Not that bad.

3. Anchorage. Accelerates as a brick, but not too bad.

4. ZF-6. Maybe the best DY ship up to now. Unfortunately DD’s are not my favorite.

5. Hizen. This ship broke the camels back as for DY events.. it’s just that bad. Atleast give her Izumo shell’s.

6. D7P. Only bought it because Dutch.. even after the Hizen incident and even then regretted it.

So one good ship, 2average  at best, 2 suck.. And one way overpriced.

So now a new BB with shotgun dispersion ( atleast reload and number of guns might enable you to hit something. ) but I want ships that reward aiming And the switching of ammo type instead of throwing HE crap and hope the fires stick… 

So..

7. Malbourough…based on the ship nope. Only reason I might still buy the minimum pack is that IF the grind is doable AND the rewards for the other 4 phases are interesting enough to warrant spending 5k doubloons. Otherwise I am going for phase 18 and then call it quits because the next 10 phases are dragon flags only which don’t interest me enough.

Dunno yet; it'll depend on how much I can play over Xmas. I won't be doing the 'full whale' though - WG have made a good start in terms of behaving better, but I'm still not inclined to return to 'full cetacean' as it were yet...

I am sitting in the same spot, almost.

 

1. PR grind was hard, I invested 3 goldbooster, got some gold back so PR cost me maybe 60,- €. Absolutely worth it for me

2. Odin was not bad too. Since I have Odin, I prefer it it over Tirpitz

3. Anchorage was an absolutely must-have for me, being a cruiser main player. US CA with smoke ? Anytime

4. ZF-6 was the first to skip for me. I am just not the DD fan

5. Hizen was not fun anymore. I pulled through the grind but in the end it drained me and the ship is relegated to Coop-duty with a secondary build (actually fun vs the bots ^^)

6. D7P definitely would have been a ship for me, but I did not participate any more

7. Marlborough ? Just no
