This is why the whole !kill! shouldnt be a thing, because of Teamkilling, nevertheless aKraken for 5 kills, cause u didnt kill 5, u had the last shot on 5.

I had a perfect 95knots torp run and telling my team to shoot the spotted shima, but no both our DD and a Minotaur had to hammer that torped Georgia.

Phew, I thought something was wrong with the game. Luckily it's just a very common sight, nothing to see here.

I start almost every battle with "Please focus enemy DDs when spotted". Its usually met with silence or occasionally "Negative" or even "Why?". But I get a warm feeling on those very rare occasions when a cruiser replies with "Wilco" and blaps the enemy DD I have just spotted for them.

This is no different than the BB-babies blaming the DDs for everything. Often being quite useless themselves. And as so often happens: the BB that screamed "Report all DDs" ended up below me on the score sheet - and put it this way: I did not make the top half of the team.

This just in: this game is played to a large degree by clueless potatoes

...and other brand new realisations

(yesterday I had a match where I torped a full health Georgia down to 4-5 k health. After which our half health North Carolina promptly rammed him)

Not sure whether OP just made a grammar mistake by not including a comma. "Teammates, don't ignore Destroyers."

Or he's just being sarcastic..... :Smile_sceptic:

How does anyone play with those crosshairs...

For real: it looks like the ship has been in port for so long that there's a cobweb on the sights...:Smile_facepalm:

I've not used that one myself, but actually some of those types a crosshairs can be useful in raising or lowering you aim for an angled ship at distance.

Find the diagonal line that matches the direction the target ship is travelling in and et voilà.

It's been a while since I used a similar one, but it did help improve my aim.

Easy... choose it... use it... and then learn HOW to use it...

...like this.

Couldn't even imagine playing with a different kind of crosshairs.

Flat, non-dynamic and learn how to aim...

Given I am often in a DD, and usually one that can outright murder other DD's (Marceau/Kleber etc) in pretty short order, I don't mind if my team ignore it, more damage for me, and I LOVE the fact the reds ignore me, more time to reach out and burn you down :Smile_trollface:

(insert Roger Murtaugh quote HERE) and therefor I'm also too old to learn new tricks. Ain't a dog, y'know... as Mythbusters proved that an old dog CAN learn new tricks, but as an old human I have the (insert deity of choice) given right to not to learn new tricks if I don't want to. Or using other crosshairs, hitting targets or proper spelling.

It all depends on how good your team is. I have had occasions where I played a destroyer and my team left me to fight two enemy destroyers on my own, and others where every ship in range would shoot the enemy DD as soon as I spotted it. But on average, at least some teammates will shoot the DD.

if you're old school (or old hoomandog?), then non-dynamic is for you. Don't some saying some automated modern crosshair is the thing.

Iron sights...

But they do.

Well, the way I experience it:

ENEMY teammates do NOT ignore destroyers (how else do you collect 2.2 million potential damage in a Tashkent?). However, friendly teammates do.

My experience, as DD player is that green team teammates do ignore red DDs, while read team teammates don't ignore green DDs. :cap_hmm:

OH Really? this type of ship is complitely useless for my opinion

less torpedoes less HP less life...less smoke generator btw smoke generators are very good!

no words to discribe a destroyer ship....

when i fight into a battle with my AA carriers they coming for me like i have all the honey

i want to delete them permanetely from my port.

Kill Stealing is both, simultaneously, 'not a thing' and 'a thing'. It all depends on your point of view :cap_look:.

So you still didn't realize that random is not 12vs12 but 1vs23... Still a long way to get there.

Today I held a enemy DD open for 3 mins. Two BBs of my team were near to him and didnt shot at him. They shot at a BB behind the DD.

I then deceided to do own damage and let them drive where they want.

The end of the story both has been torpedoed and died early.

I was the last survivor and ended top of my team.
