What are your personal favourite T5 to T7 ships & why?

What are your personal favourite tier 5 to 7 ships & why? It would be interesting to see if there are favourite ship trends (or not). all comments are welcome. Well, not all. We don't need no negatives - make a new topic for 'that'.

These tiers, I don't have any clear favourite(s), perhaps, just ships I like playing more than others. I like;

Gnevny: the run & gun style

Shinonome: I did the campaign & so earned it

Duca d"Aosta: for some reason I do OK with it (I think)

Andrea Doria: for some reason I do OK with it (I think) although some don't like this BB at all.

ARP Myokos (& Dragon clones): the camo is certainly colourful & the ship, itself, isn't that bad

Devonshire: situational & a decent CA, imo

ARP Kongos: camos are colourful & decent BB, if played properly

T V - Kamikaze - Everybody knows it is the best ship in the game. (Honorable mention: Giulio Cesare and Gremyashchy)

 

T VI - T61 - A very good all round ship in an uninspiring tier. (Honorable mention: Shinonome)

 

T VII -  Gadjah Mada - Close second Haida and honorable mention Leningrad

T5 Kongo/ARP Hiei - speed at this tier? OP.

T6 Fuso - the pagoda of death

T6 Ise - the lesser pagoda, but with torp planes, the only CV plane that's fun to use

T6 Admiral Makarov - reminding everybody of the christmas debacle while spamming overpowered yellow ammunition

T7 Scharnhorst - fast, tough and gets to smash poor cruisers with low pen ammo

T7 Z-39 - because sometimes you want to win

T7 Prinz Heinrich - RIP Gneisenau, you won't be missed

October Revolution: good performance

T6:

Aigle: feels like a mini cruiser

Arizona: Best guns, agility, ok armor

T7:

Shiratsuyu: reload booster fun

Myoko: this is where kiting gets fun

Duke of York: heal, hydro, AA, improved pen angles, history

T5: Okhotnik - good at clubbing kamikazes

T6: Warspite - God tier guns

T7: Hiada - amazing DD hunter / scout

T5 GC ( + Kamikaze since it’s one of the few DD’s in which even I can perform okish) For some reason I also used to play a lot of Konig games before it’s accuracy got nerfed. And the increasing number of 15 inch plus guns in its matchmaking that laughs at Konigs good armor.

 

T6: Good old Warspite, followed up by Fuso and more recently Izmail. Had my Dunkek fun as well.

 

T7: ARP Nachi

Tier 5 Exeter it’s so OP it should have been the British tier 6 heavy I also like emerald for her speed and torps but she’s really high reward or devastating strike! 
 

tier 7 Haida is fantastic there’s a reason she got removed, KGV is OP, Nelson is one of my favourites it’s guns are devastating mine has a secondary build as well! Obviously Scharnhost can’t really go wrong with her she great at hunting cruisers and can make mincemeat of enemy BBs in a brawl. And finally the best T7 cruiser the Fiji

In these tiers, definitely Gneisenau and Scharnhorst by a far shot. I also really, really, really like Vasteras and Blyskawica.

Kongo - her speed,

Kamikaze R - she’s evil and it’s so much fun.

 Warspite - her guns but the speed frustrates me, 

Hood - her speed and she is beautiful.

Belfast - because she has so much versatility and is evil too.

Haida is my favourite in the tier range overall; besides her:

• Tier 5: Kami/Fujin by a mile, although I don't play them very often, as I feel guilty if I do.
• Tier 6: T-61, with Shinonome an honourable mention. Graf Spee, Erich Loewenhardt, and Ark Royal for Ops.
• Tier 7: Besides Haida, it's probably Scharn for Ops.

T5 -  Viribus Unitis - such a meme ship... I don't like t5s that much in general but Derfflinger left me with a good impression.

T6 - Izmail/ Graf Spee - because tears of new cruiser players are delicious :P.

T7 - Nelson/Fiji - I almost always have fun in these ships.

T5 - 

- Kamikaze cause ofc it's hilarious with the torp reload and speed for the tier. 

- Viribus Unitis cause it's guns are great and has been good concealment. It has downsides but I still like it very much. 

- Agincourt cause secondaries are fun 

- GC cause it can do impossible things. 

- Kongo I still like it (playing it as ARP Kongo) with great speed and decent guns. 

 

T6 

- Leone . Yes. This thing is funny and people ignore it. I played 28 battles on it all of them a win 

- Mysore . This one isn't the best but it's the most hilarious to play for me. Especially with the CV wants for some reason to spam you and you end up almost deplaning it (T6 CV )

- Ise. Cause it's fun with the planes. Especially playing it 2x Ise and CV div. Oh boy so much (un)fun for enemy team 

- Ark Royal. Those bombs... I expected that CV to be crap cause it is on paper. But in reality it's good. 

- Ryujo. Brutally smashing everything. And it's fun to watch 

 

T7 -

- Błyskawica. Cause I understand the ship well which makes it much better experience. Unlike others that want to cap on it no matter what 

- Helena . Cause it's having great dpm especially when your DDs can support. 

- Haida. Cause obviously it's very strong for fighting for caps unlike Błyskawica. 

- California. Yes for me it's fun. Why? Maybe because it's hilarious to surprise people that there's a BB not that far away suddenly. 

- Gadjah Mada. Not super special DD but I'm having fun in closer range fight. 

- Hyuga with reload booster which no one is expecting

T5 has so many fun/good ships. 

 

- Okhotnik: smashing DDs with its HE and concealment, smashing CAs with AP, smashing BBs with a hilarious ammount of torps. 

- Podvojiski: T5 Paolo Emilio ´nuff said. 

- Hill: T5 Clemson ´nuff said. 

- GC the one and only. 

- Exeter: Heal, hydro, torps, modern gun layout, 203s. This thing is broken. 

 

T6: 

- Gnevny: Gunboat with competitive concealment. 

- Perth: Pure fun. 

- Budjonny: Insane firepower for that Tier. 

- Bayern: Best BB at T6 (imo) and besides Bismarck the real star of that line. 

- Aigle: IFHE/AFT Aigle for the omega-troll-mode. 

- Ryujo: You are looking for the most broken CV in the game? Look no further. It dwarfs FDR and Enty realtive to their tiers. 

 

T7: 

- Haida. 

- Sinop.... ayy blyat

- P. Heinrich: Quite the fun brawler. Pretty much unstoppable when top tier.

- Belfast. Still broken. 

- Ashitaka: Old Amagi A-Hull. The guns feel better then the Amagi ones. An absolute murder-bot when top-tier.

T61, Myoko, Shiny, Gneis, KGV, DOY, hood, Ark Royal and Akatsuki I like T6&7 because it contains historical ships,  the most historical one is still absent; Belfast !!.

I really like the tier 6 London.

 

Earned her in the missions back in 2019, and initially didn't have high hopes for her as I'm not particularly good at cruisers, and free premium boats are often pretty bad and people were also saying it's a bad ship.

 

I absolutely love her though.

Armed with 203s that can fire HE, has smoke+hydro+heal, and can be really impactful as well as decent for farming. I love to play her both as a DD escort by sneaking up to caps and blowing the enemy DD away with that alpha, but she can also sit in open waters (smoke!) if needed to set fires on the red BBs.

This boat is great, and fun as well. Best free boat I ever got.

T5 IDK I rarely play it, Grammy I guess but then agian I take her out once a blue moon…

 

T6 hmmm, Dunq and Spee I guess for farming silver and ops from time to time but Mackensen and Dido might replace them IDK

 

T7 Belfast couse I am evil

1. Omaha - good firestarter, otherwise I do not play T5 very often

T6:

1. Fuso - devastating in scenarios, excellent sniper, her secondaries can give You some addiitional successes there
2. Nürnberg - best ship for all T6 scenarios (in my opinion), good range, high dpm, with torps and hydroacoustics
3. in T6 scenarios I also choose Leander, Dallas and London from time to time with good results

T7:

1. Helena - he-spamming nightmare for DDs, especially in Narai, always good for citadel hits and dev-strikes in Narai against light cruisers - I rarely leave this scenario with less than 100k damage when playing Helena
2. Fiji - in Narai nearly as good as Helena, with the option to heal and smoke if needs be.

I did not like her at the beginning, she had much less capability than Devonshire, but in scenarios she works better (thanks to smoke)

Had the same luck, but was a little disappointed then ... as mentioned above, in scenarios I learned to value her
