You may want to keep an eye on those newer battlecruisers, and how they will be performing. There may be opportunities for interesting gameplay there.

When I was working my way up through the tiers (in co-op) I remember frequently seeing a guy playing HMS Emerald - I was doing the RN CLs myself so fair enough - maybe he's at the same stage of his WoWS career.

Since then I finished 15 tech tree branches to tier 10, including Minotaur.

A while ago I dusted off Podvoisky for the Russian destroyers grind to Khabarovsk (which I've just finished) and .... he's still playing Emerald with 35831 out of 40295 battles.

So I don't think your 8055 matches in one ship is too much to worry about.

On the topic of number of battles played in a certain ship, one fellow has over 8800 games in the Kami. So whilst I might consider that a tad excessive, I don’t think think I can throw stones in that particular glass house.

Holy Heavy Water, that's a critical 'singularity' - I mean, Seal Clubbers who only play T1 don't have nearly those numbers of battles for one ship (as far as I know).

For me & when I noted this it surprised me a little, my Iwaki Alpha with 479 battles (out of 11Kish).

I have several list of ships I use to random what I play. The Iwaki Alpha is on 4 of the 5 so it shows up sometimes.

I, certainly, do not abuse choosing any ship even the ones I play somewhat better than usual - I just 'random' what I play in random battles.
