It's the pits. Ranked is festered by them. 

 

At least they are over quick when you have a team full of chimps or an actual good team when you will stomp. 

 

Very hard to find evenly balanced one now.

I've killed 2 Hallands on a Shima and on a Yugumo. I supposed were exceptions but Shima punches hard and if the other guy panics you can hit more times. I suppose.

I agree to disagree and would like to enter the competition for baddest player also.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it's already hard to reach Bronze level 5 for me (failed this for 2 or 3 seasons, including the current one, now), whereas I managed to go to level 1 quite well beforehand. And even qualified for Silver during the season in spring this year.

Guess that the latest tiers didn't suit me well (too much Shinonomes and T-61s lastly, too much radar presently)... Where is the enjoyable T7 gone? :-/

If its nothing but frustrating, stop playing ranked for a while.
I for example am quite a decent BB and Cruiser player. However the most efficient class in ranked by far are DDs. Im not that good with DDs, they will never suit me like Crusiers and BBs do. Thats why i am dependent on DD team mates to not screw up. If they do right at the start, the battle is lost 90%. And that happens often, you rarely got matches where one team doesnt have suiciding DD players.

Ranked is a lottery for everyone who isnt a good DD player. You either got the torp eating DDs who park in their smokes or yoloing DDs who throw away the win and there is nothing you can do. Or you got the guys who play patiently, waiting for every chance to spot enemie DDs, hurt them and cap. I love to play back up for them with my Alaska for example.

As said before, if its frustrating, stop for a while. Then come back with no big expectations and just play. Sometimes you ll get a win streak.

I can’t say I miss ranked it was always frustrating and these days the rewards seem very underwhelming.

Its cool i had finished before i made the post, my goal isnt extreme i want the three bronze steel rewards and thats it.

 

i dont play clan battles so steel comes in very slow and im up to about 18k so its that point that with a voucher im not a million miles away from actually owning a steel ship! so im making sure to hoover up the easy stuff!

Well ive just done 4 battles in ranked. Stuff this. First Subs now superships. Sticking broken and overpowered crap in Ranked because no one wants to test these things on the test server.

Though since the change to Bronze/Silver/Gold ive pretty much stopped ranked anyway.

By the time I even get into any kind of good position our DD(s) are dead, crusier is about to die and the BB is AFK. 

 

Ranked is and always has been a joke and something to not take seriously. 1-2 games then switch off. 

 

A Harro trying to torp a shimmy from 6 km without firing his guns once and ended up being killed by the shimmy guns. Complete and utter window licking muppets. They are a waste of our earths oxygen and should be recycled to make something more usleful, like a chocolate teapot.

Well, in the old days, it gauged the players' skill level better through progression. Everyone managed to roughly to the level and rewards which matched their skill, and luck when it came to what sort of teams they were getting.

No not really, the window lickers were there as well, few seasons where there were no safe ranks might have kept the high leagues clean but were met with said WL abandoning Ranked completely so WG gave them back everything they wanted and more, after all we know which metric is most important to WG...

Well.. I could typically reach between 15 and 10. With luck, 10 was easy, with really good luck, even rank 8 was possible. That was my personal 'ceiling'.
