Yes I was wondering that too as I've already got a couple. Will have to keep a note of how many I've got, surprised that they're not recorded anywhere even though we can't do anything with them at the moment.

Sorry, if I ask is because I couldn't find anything and the search function here is a pain in the arse.

You can see if you have the snowflake on your T10 ships. Count the ones without a snowflake, that equates  the number of certificates you collected.

To address a few points brought up:

1. I think it is indeed a missed opportunity (to put it mildly) by the Devs to NOT incorporate a 'Snowflakes achieved' counter in the armory; I mean, there are counters for everything else (the numerous tokens), even those that can no longer be earned!

2. There is the following website: https://whaling.in.fkn.space/   . This website collects the ships in port, and shows you what you can earn. It also shows you how many ships so far have 'earned' their rewards (tokens / steel / coal)

3. Coal and steel earned should be added to your stash automatically.

They're a new 'currency': you get one for each T10 ship snowflake, and they can be exchanged for various Satan crates next patch (I think); it's something like one token for a small crate, three for a medium, and five for the biggest, from memory (so I might be wrong).

Anyone worked out the best value for the certificates?

I.e big crates instead of mega ones due to cost 3 instead if 5?

Thanks in advance.

You can check the most excellent statistics done by our Forumite @black_falcon120 from last years!

Await the drop rates - in previous years the medium crates seemed to offer best value for money.

Please note that last year Premium ship drop rate was almost 2x lower for the "Big Box" compared to "Mega Box"...

True - but then again, they biggest crates were also much more expensive.

if i get a ship and i already have it - do i get the dubloons for it or won't i even have the chance for the ships SC and get the other drops instead @YabbaCoe ? asking since I have most ships already

The usual mechanic lately has been that one gets one of the other rewards; barring some very improbable circumstances (which may have been eliminated altogether by now) you can't get duplicate ships (so, doubloons) any more.

Based on my experiences last year, as long as you're missing at least one ship from the drop list, you can still roll *a* ship; if you do, the ship in question is determined by whatever the usual mechanics are, and if you have it already, you get a SC with a 'random' ship that you don't have. It may be confirmation bias, but you do seem to have to get through the carp before you get the decent stuff...

For the discerning whale, this has meant in the past that there is sense in holding off on buying Satan crates until after you've bagged most/all the freebies you can*.

*Edit: assuming you don't believe that WG mess with the probabilities early on, such that people get good drops to start with, in the hope that they'll tell their mates, so selling more boxes...
