serious performance issue, game stuttering/laging every 3 seconds

Has anyone been having this issue? for the third day in a row my game play is getting persistent stuttering every 3sec's during the game and in port and it seems to be getting worse to the point of unplayable.

 

Had this issue once a few years ago but it cleared it self up after a day or so, seemed to be a server issue.

 

never had any performance issues with my PC, and lowering graphics setting doesn't change anything.

Hello.

 

Try playing one coop battle and check your ping. You can see it in the upper left corner of your screen. Pingspikes are currently an issue especially for German and Austrian players.

just gave my GFX card a quick clean, wasn't really dirty. then played on medium settings, and everything seemed fine. been playing on a little above high settings since i started playing 5+ years ago

You may not think it’s your computer but don’t rule it out.

 

I bought a brand new gaming laptop and straight off the bat it was using 5-15% of CPU usage at idle, after cleaning out all the bloated stuff it now runs trim.

 

Aggressive antivirus and system restore are things I do without.

I'm having the same issue. Microstutter, every 5 seconds. Started with the last patch.

 

Not a computer problem. This problem manifests itself only in WOWS. I play other games, the "heaviest" ones being Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 5 and i have zero problems with them.

 

Games run on an NVME.

yeah I get the same exact problem, pin is ok, framerate is ok, but game slows/stutters every 3-5 sec's, it's making the game really difficult to play

Exactly this! I thought it was my pc but tried different games that maxed my cpu and gpu and didn't have any problems. This has happening last patch too but it was like 1 or 2 times per battle, contacted their support and the answer was we dont know what is the problem we will pass it to our developers......

Maybe @Crysantos @YabbaCoe can give them a remind to check pls thx :)

I have the same problem, stutters every 2-3 sec, i tried literally all and nothing changed. No problem with CPU or GPU, no problem with connection, i tried reinstall the game on the SSD but nothing.

Someone has news?

 it's start after last 0.10.10 update, the game starts fine, but after 3-4 min of play stutters begins.

I am pretty sure it's the server. I get the stutter when something is spotted or something is killed or some other major event occurs in the game that requires refreshing the screen. 

 

It's most common with spotting.

i have the same connection issue, installed the game a week ago, can't play because of severe lag spikes, with constant high fps, ping mostly around 40ms, but jumps above 200ms every few seconds. no background downloads, other games run just fine without any lags.

interesting issue, i also have extremely slow loading times for all wargaming websites, pages take multiple minutes to load, while most pages are done in a second or so.

pingplotter just concluded: ~20% paket loss at the last hop, at wg servers. tried wows login server, wows forum, and wargaming portal, all the same.

I also noticed long pings today... between 100-150ms, where usually it stays around 20-30. From time to time I also get a little lag... but not as severe as others mentioned. I still can play.

this problem is still persisting, no matter what changes I make to Graphics settings, my FPS is stable at between 30-40, my ping sits at 35ms with no spikes, I can only put this down to the last update, which is when it started again.

This is getting beyond a joke, I've lowered the graphics settings heavily to see what happens, no change, GPU drivers updated, no change, after today's update, no change, constant micro game stutters every 3-4 seconds is making this game unplayable, and unfun.

I've just reinstalled the game and it's still doing it..

Not sure about he ping but I am getting disconnect after disconnect, making the game totally unplayable.

Might wanna ask Google about parked cpu cores, how to check it and how to unpark them. Microstutters every few seconds sounds very much like it. Also background apps can be an issue, especially firewall, anti-virus apps or VPN.

It's hard to give you precise help, because the description is not very detailed and problems like this usually take a direct inspection on the machine itself. What you can rule out is that it the game itself because if this would be the issue, a lot more, if not everyone, would have this problem. The problem is 100% local and your machine. Perhaps not fully compatible hardware, perhaps wrongly configures settings in BIOS/UEFI, and so on. As i said, hard to diagnose this from afar.

background app and the firewall have been the same for years, no VPN, I checked parked cores but none of them seemed to be, updated all the primary drivers. and turned off whatever background apps I could. still the same.

 

the game will start ok during a match then it starts after 30sec and gets worse as the match progresses.

32gb ram

Geforce 980 ti

 

I'm not running it on highest graphics setting, but dropping settings down does nothing
