Just played a random which sums up the absurdity that is WG, I played Bismarck (19 point skipper) and my first encounter with a Zieten, omfg WG really are clueless and oblivious to power creep, not only that but a load of BS paper ship.   My Bis has full secondary build, stats for secondaries  (which started firing at same time);

Bismarck : 47 hits 10450 damage

Zieten ; 129 hits 23652 damage.

So a world famous ship plays second fiddle to a Russian inspired Mickey Mouse paper ship ?.

Yes I killed Zieten  ironically with CQE but the above clearly highlights power creep.

Power creep stories on this forum are all to common, can the stupid developers get a grip and buck up, because I bet if it was Bismarckski the stats would’ve been different.

While I’m typically raving I would like to congratulate the equally TAF player base tonight.

Anyone else experienced the laughable secondary rate of the paper ships compared to REAL ships ??.

Unfortunately WG do not want you to bimble around in an old Bismark, they want you to put your hands in your pocket, pull out your wallet and buy the new Zieten Comrade :fish_viking:

At least the Bismarck looks good: the Zieten is fugly :Smile_ohmy:

This. I got hold of the bugger yesterday evening (?) - jayzus! It's quite possible my eyes will never recover from being cast upon that thing. It really has received a major beating from the ugly stick...

On the up-side, when playing against human opposition, I would imagine they'll struggle to look at that seagoing abomination for long enough to manage a decent aim...?

For this and many other problems WG puts into the game there is always "the good thing to dotm":

  • don't feed WG with anything: money, steel, coal, free exp whatever... but especially not money
  • go down into the ranges of (mostly) real ships and interesting, mostly even fair battles (given for a debatable amount of "fair" as soon as T4 CVs are involved) that we know as "T4" or "the nether regions"
  • ?
  • winrar!

at times like these, its important to remember to keep giving them money, and continue playing to keep those engagement numbers up, via the matches played tally.

Luckily one can do the one without the other... or.. well... either without the other, I guess? Like... play without giving money to them.. or give them money and not playing...

Or really drastically even not giving them money AND not playing?

Wow...

Choices, ey?

No change:cap_yes:. Just more of the same :etc_swear: .  Wedgie likes to give wedgies :cap_hmm: and, now, 'atomic wedgies' :cap_wander_2:.

Even with the discomfort  :Smile_amazed::Smile_sceptic::Smile_unsure: you are supposed to enjoy your experience with  Wedgie. Meanwhile, continue giving us :cap_money: money. :Smile_facepalm:

Yeah nothing changed money grabbing and power creep goes on 😱, did we really expect anything different ?.

Rigor. WTF is getting gud got to do when secondaries pop off, you can clearly see the huge gap between the 2 botes, you don’t happen to drive an Oland do you😉. And FYI the reason my CQE sunk cheatin was because my mains did all the damage, while the green weekend boaters did their usual thing 💩.

I’m happy that there is a new brawling line that actually works and fun at the same time. Maybe it powercreeps an already powercrept line, but it’s a small price to pay. The new ships are tech tree and easily obtainable for anyone, so stop the whining and join the fun.

Must be the Zietens only redeeming feature....

Considering the entire broadside is a shot trap because of hull mounted secondaries, and the entire nose is 27mm.

1 forward point turret? Bruh...

Citadel is not a turtleback and its above the water line... sheeesh

There's a reason why Dreadnought design stops at tier 6 - 7 tops.

And you actually think The Schlieffen can power creep the Kurry with this?

Actually, the sun doesn't stay in place. It orbits the center of the Milky Way at around 220 km per sec :fish_book:

So the power of a ship is defined by her secondary damage? Interesting...

And we completly ignore that your "weaker" ship sank the "more powerful" ship? Interesting...
