Tulsa coming in 0.10.10 for 228k coal. Opinions? Worth it?

Yes, but still flatter than Des Moines or Worcester. They don't fire shells but start missiles.

I'm was looking forward to Tulsa and she still looks good; she does seem/feel like T9, yes DM, but also Wichita-ish (the concealment is the exact same as wichita btw).

 

Sure, Salem exists, but Salem has never been that interesting for me, mainly due to DM existing, it's not bad, just not that interesting. 

 

Btw, i am currently sitting at 420k Coal and it'll be 480k with the snowflakes, so, i can get whatever i want. Planning to get Marceau with the current coupon, Tulsa with the coupon reset on Dec. 26th and that i'll leave me with +100k coal left : (i'll also get Mainz and Agir)

Seems like a blend of Baltimore and Salem, and since I have both I don't see the point.

 

I'm trying to go for niche ships for coal, so I picked up Napoli and Z-44 recently. Kearsarge would be my next.

 

EDIT: if I had fewer ships in general, I would go for it, as she seems to be fairly strong and fun.

Got DesMoines and Salem and see no single reason to buy her. If I farm 200-300k of Coal then I would rather wait just in case of return of Black. Black wasn't stated by WG as never return, so she can be back one day, right?

Well she is T9 if we have Ranked or something in T9 you wont have much use from those will you?

I have many TIX ships from all classes, but you have right mini DM on TIX could be interesting pick if Alaska/Kronshtadt gets banned/reduced to 1.

 

With Black it's not about how strong she is now but as collector I just like to have rare ships.

Well, actually only the Soviets had a bias on the Death side and had dead astro-/cosmonauts which got killed while in space. Additionally, they shot more stuff crashing on the moon than the US did IIRC. And Apollo 13 missed the moon.

 

As long as there's no Space Oddity and no Major Tom steering weirdly, I guess that we should look for another explanation for craters...

I really need the next premium US Cruiser to be Galveston. Then we'd have a Jimmy Webb set. (Phoenix, Wichita, Galveston). Tulsa is a good song too, mind.

And please make them T4 to T6 or so... I'll never spend any coal on any more T9 ships, with the meta so utterly boring in high tier.

If you are counting only outer space then yes because there was only one incident with fatalities, Soyuz 11.

If we count everything else besides training and testing it tells a rather different story now doesnt it?

You mean, every accident that happened in flight, disregarding the usual space boundary, the Karmán line at 100km altitude? As that leads to include the 2 Space Shuttle accidents with together 14 fatalities, Challenger and Columbia, you're quite right. That's why I worded my post with "while in space", I did also not include the cosmonaut killed upon mission end due to a parachute defect.

 

Ah, the Shuttle accidents are a bad presage for the Tulsa, then. I'm deducting that US technology is bound to blast its users to smithereens, or not?

Well. If her arcs are like the ones on DM, then that means they're still good enough for me to use on max range with range mod. That's good enough for me. I think I'll buy it when I get fhe coal.
