Před 30 minutami Lord0 řekl/a:

Gunboat preferred.

If you want gunboat, then probably french Aigle.

T-61

This.

Unfortunately The T-61 is no longer available in the shop, which is a pity since she is one of those ships which will punish mistakes but reward careful and intelligent play.

A currently available tier 6 premium DD, though... I dunno. Is the Anshan still available for regular purchase? If so, she's a good little ship.

Edit: The Aigle, as mentioned by Captain @Flaky26 above, is a good and solid choice! Not the most versatile ship, perhaps, but she can pull her weight well enough - and her smoke screen gives her a bit more survivability than other French destroyers.

Aigle is a beast if you know what you're doing. The armament is really powerful (other than the AA...), plus smoke AND French speed boost.

Gallant is a nice torpedo boat.

They're both for coal, which is a plus imho.

Monaghan can be played either way, with two different captains. Good value for money, if ask me.

Anshan has slow turrets, making a captain hardly compatible with high-tier Pan Asian DDs. Plus it doesn't get the typical high number of smokes. And it's not one of the "big nations"...

While it's a good boat, pretty much anything Anshan can do, Aigle does better.

the Shinonome is excellent and free with the campain to unlock it, but it is not a gunboat even though it has T8 guns with nerfed reload.

The Gallant - which obviously also slipped my mind when I wrote my first post here - is actually a well-rounded little ship. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't have the creeping smoke and the short-range long-duration hydro which - together with the single-shot torpedoes (that she may have; I'm not sure?) - are the trademarks of the British DD line. For me, this makes her less fun to play now than she was when she was first introduced.

You don't really have a huge amount of choice at T6; as others have said, the best (quite comfortably) is T-61, which isn't available any more.

Of the rest, Shinonome is excellent (and free), if you have the patience to do the campaign; she also has the merit of having an optional (for money) 'National' permaflage, which noticeably boosts her silver earnings. Lousy AA though.

Otherwise, I'm another vote for Aigle, and Anshan (I prefer the former); both of those are respectable gunboats, although they also have doable torps. Gallant is a bit dated now, but still pretty worthwhile; she's a bit more torpedo-orientated than Aigle/Anshan though.

@Lord0

People recomeded Anshan or Aigle.

I suggest you go check wows fitting tools page and compare those two ships.

https://wowsft.com/compare

https://wowsft.com/ship?index=PFSD506&modules=11111&upgrades=000000&commander=PCW001&consumables=111&pos=0

https://wowsft.com/ship?index=PZSD506&modules=11111&upgrades=000000&commander=PCW001&consumables=111&pos=0

Basically Aigle has better DPM, fire chance, torpedo damage, more Health and is faster with Speed boost.

Anshan has better ballistic, maneuverability, basic speed, AA, concealment.

Consider the nation. Do you play french or panasian ships?

And do not forget, both are available in Armory for coal. Aigle 49 500 coal, Anshan 40 000 coal.

So you can pick up both.

Aigle can be solid gunbote, though suffers from awful gun firing arcs and ballistics that makes American Dual Purpose Mortars proud. If you can't stand low velocity guns, your only option at tier 6 is Anshan, packing Russian 130mm guns. Sadly, she is somewhat inferior to tech tree Fushun - worse concealment and lack of extremely versatile Pan Asian smokes, but in return have normal torpedoes. At least both ships can be acquired for coal.

Aigle is what I would recommend from my lineup. Anshen is pretty good too with more noob friendly guns while I really don't play with the Gallant much tbh.

Where I feel the Aigle is the strongest is the combination of big caliber hard hitting guns and torpedoes that are simply insane for destruction. The other two mentioned kinda need to land both racks of torpedoes against higher tier BB's where the Aigle will put just about any BB to sleep with just one rack which means you can yolo between two BB's, tank their best efforts and knock out two full health BB's in one pass while probably still surviving so the Aigle can really turn a battle on its head pretty quickly if played tactically. The camo certainly isn't the best but like I said it's very tanky and that's why the camo is sensibly not as good at those other two. That said the camo is still good enough to deploy her 8km torps and not get spotted so it can still implement that invisible torpedo bar steward gameplay if needs be, so it's not THAT bad in the camo department either.

Just be warned that the Aigle's guns, while incredibly destructive, can best be described as more of a missile boat. Ballistic missile levels of arch and as such does need practice to adjust to the correct lead and obviously restricts long range success against more fleet footed boats. Also, the very last gun is almost redundant in the sense that you need to almost full broadside to bring it on target and that's not always a good idea for obvious reasons. Sure, you don't have a citadel but it's still presenting a lot of ship for enemies to hit and if you do it while sitting in smoke you're kinda inviting a wall of torpedoes onto it. By comparison the Anshen and Gallant are more user friendly that way but once you get the hang of the Aigle it's imho a far more destructive DD.

I think all 3 of these are available for coal, it's how I acquired them anyway, maybe not anymore. Also, what commanders you actually have available is going to be a factor too. If you have a highly trained UK DD commander and don't have a French DD commander or don't have a Pan-Asia, then obviously this makes a strong case to chose one and not the other lol. I don't think you can go too far wrong with any of those 3 though, all of them are very good.

Just why would you want T6 premium DD?

The first premium DD I would recommend is Cossack at T8. Great ship, just lacks AA and 1 torpedo launcher.

Ranked and Clans, when the tier calls for it and submarines aren't included; they can be worthwhile in Coop too - boosts the rewards you get when you're uptiered.

So... personal experience of an average player:

As You can see, it's a very personal thing... some people do better in one ship, others in another...

Might be depending on one's personal playstyle preferences?!?

And please take note, all the above results were achieved playing solo with whatever WG's MM thought what I would need as "Teammates" at that time.
