I like big cruisers (not that I have many of them...working my way up). Currently, as "tanky" cruisers I have in port: Ägir Prinz Eugen Baltimore Tallin Looking for some inputs, I'm grinding up with Baltimore (excellent ship, as you know) and having a blast. But my experience with Tallin has been awful. Looking forward to Riga and Mother Russia prodigious son Petropavlosk. From the German ones, I enjoy very much both Eugen and Ägir, I believe that with some focused play and some luck you get very nasty salvoes on enemy ships, especially Ägir, who can citadel enemy BBs. So, what do you recommend grinding/getting? I'm hoping WG realeases Alaska again for Black Friday like a drop of water in the desert. But I'm also building up a nice amount of coal to maybe get Napoli? or Moskva seems to be a big/tanky cruiser as well. Thanks! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you like to have an action sometimes Siegfried and Hindenburg are a good choice. Yoshino/Alaska are also a good choice. Petro is always a good choice. :) Moskva is just "ok" now. There are far better picks now. Both tree X soviet cruisers are imo much better than her (reload x fire chance = doom). Hindenburg never gets old. FEXP heavy cruiser (supercruisers) like Alaska or Yoshino are much better than her. I also love new T9 and T10 Dutch cruisers. Everything except VII and VIII from that line is awesome. VII and VIII are worst Dutch cruisers. More brand alarm and anemic main battery is true of course, but useless cruiser damage doesn't matter anyway. Had no single game that I would say I was trash (outranged, outgunned or anything). Even rammed a sub. IX already can equip a module for extended main battery range. So the main con disappears. The guns are different and are much more precise and finally you can throw citadels around like a beer cans. But my true love is Gouden. Eugen is tanky at T8 but not when facing T10 spammers and BB’s. A lot also boils down to whether you’re a good player/angler or not, for example a better player than I could be more tanky in an Albermarle than I in a Hindenburg. Imho these are “my” tanky cruisers; Petro, Hindi, Golden Lion, Goliath, enderacht and Eugen. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

However, these were all ships that were available in the armory at that time. This year, this is not the case for Massa, Alaska, and JB. So WG maybe change this.
