There are so many issues resulting from the last patch the game has become frustrating as hell to play and whilst the concept itself is great and I really want to play, the game play is making me want to wash my hands of it. I hope this doesn't end up a disaster like world of warplanes. WG really seem intent on screwing up games.


 

Aiming is probably the biggest issue I've had. My average hit rates have plummeted, torpedo hits are almost non existent. I see (He) rounds passing through ship, I see torpedoes passing through ships. I see torpedoes missing stationary ships from less than 1.5 km away. I see aim points being more inconsistent than just RNG would create and I see aim points jumping around the screen.


 

We wont even get on to the pathetic map rotation because you can get warnings for criticising the pathetic map rotation.


 

Oh well. Time for a break. Plenty of other games out there.

A bit harsh Hans....:unsure:

 

Did the OP use the aim assist per chance :child:

 

If so, then the training wheels are off and he needs to LTP :trollface:

Nah used the aim assist for a day just to see what all the fuss about. Other than being able to see people coming around islands I didn't see any benefit from it. It's not about knowing where to aim, that easy enough. Nor would aim assist account for shells and torpedoes passing through ships with no impact.

 

As for hanszeehock, He has to brown nose WG to keep his supertester status and therefore he'll attack anyone who raises a complaint against his lords and masters.

That all sounds like lag - hits not registering/torps going through, aim points jumping around. Can't say I've ever had torps miss a stationary ship from 1.5km unless it was because the spread was so large

If it was lag I wouldn't expect to see it all the time, which is what has happened since the last patch.

Regardless of the reason, lag or something else, its no fun to play when something is preventing you from playing effectively.

What I think what you saw is probably shells travelling between different parts of the superstructure and torps that were not activated yet. If you really think there are issues activate replays and sent them in. That would actually help.

Couldn't say about the shells, wouldn't know how to tell, just that it's only happened since last patch.

The torps were definitely active given the distance they were fired at.

I didn't think replays were active.

It has been happening for as long as I remember. If you shoot long range then chances of torps/shells going through the back of the ship are very likely. Common issue in my opinion.

@saidor. You cannot complain about other forum members criticizing you regarding your OP. It smacks of whine without any constructive comment. Everyone here has to play the same nations, the same ships, the same maps but extremely few complain in the way you did. We all know this is still a work in progress with ample space for more content but you complained as though this was the finished product. I will not follow others in wishing you better luck elsewhere but to wish you had tried to be a little more constructive in your criticism of a game that still has a Beta tag on it.

It can be frustrating in a long run when you have angled your torp bombers perfectly, and you aimed and manually launched from ideal distance... and 3 of your 4 torpedoes go through a BB without any damage...  :amazed:

But as said here, this is Beta and as such a work in progress... These are the things we are here to iron out.

Looking at your stats you're a bad player, but you have a high relative hit ratio, so the lead assist question is a legit one. 

 

And ST brown nosing to WG to keep ST status? You really need to get out more, if you payed attention there are plenty of vocal super testers who been criticizing certain aspects of gameplay during certain stages.

Why am I a bad player from my stats? you have no idea how I play and you have no idea how other peoples play affects my stats. As people have said, this is about testing and that's what I do. I test out what ships are good at and what they are not good at. I put my ships in to bad situations to see how they will do. My hit ratio is high because I get close to the enemy all the time. Hell, it would be a hell of a lot higher if I didn't spam rounds at destroyers for the hell of it.  I don't hide at the edge of the map like the majority of players do. Stats in a game like this do not show whether a player is good or bad.

What killed WoWS for me were RNG that just makes every big gun fight a lottery, you can shoot full salvo at 10 km with 12 guns and then hit 0 or 10 shots, all depending on RNG, then those hits cause 0-100k damage depenging 100% on RNG. And 2nd killer is the MM, same pos that is plaguing WoT, all the games are pretty much set in stone at start and you get even less chance to have effect on result when compared to WoT.

 

Basically destroyers are only playable class atm.

Errr this game no fun? come on... dont expect it to run on a 2g mobile network... or your personal toaster....

 

Yes the game is still in beta and YOU can make a difference in making it a better game by giving feedback in a positive way (I like it but I think it wil be better if we change this that blablabla) That's why it says beta TESTER....
Get on teamspeak, learn to play and learn how to have fun... Oh and to become a supertester brown nosing doesnt work but regarding hans we have the term hansing around now.... :trollface::izmena:

If, as you say above, you are in this for the testing, why is your OP a whine post?

 

Surely, if you have found a bug, you report it as a bug?  Did you?

It was me, Yesterday, the guy who you accused of Aimbot use and such. Funny that i find you here, in a whinethread.

You called me Aimbotter and some other unfriendly things, and i did promise you that i will upload the Video for you. BTW, its not a replay (i dont have this function), its directly recorded Ingame.

I did cut alot out, only the important things are in. You have really learn alot about this Game imho, you drive straight forward and you are wondering why ppls kills you that fast. Like i said yesterday: Its always better to call others Cheaters then doing some Self-Reflexions. And dont forget, some players (like me) have alot more Battles played as you and guess what, they are alot more Experienced as you too. :B

 

And here now especially for you, your fail on Video, have Fun.

 

 

To all others, sorry for my English, i`m from Switzerland and English isnt my native Language.
