Nice one, sad thing is WG could actually balance classes as such quite easily if they just gave up on the short term Shake and bake line and ship releases intended for instant monetisation and notion all ships have to be similar in performance, popularity and have nation flavours (usually by gimmicking them up) AT THE SAME TIME

Look at the young one go. Next thing we know they'll be telling us they don't need a cane to walk.

That in a nut shell is exactly how we (mostly) feel about WG, and the thing is the joke will go over their heads,  the stats say otherwise 🤭, So what was the other wish(es),   No subs in randoms and free monthly loot boxes 😂🤣.

Mr Sour strikes again.

There are precious few really new jokes, Pal. The vast majority are recycled for new purposes.

The difference between me and you is that I can light up a room by entering it, whereas you can light up a room by leaving it.

And still there are thousands of people who earn their money with new stuff...

They have rich mothers? Cause most of the new stuff (post 1990) is about as fun as watching your laundry dry. Almost, not quite.

I suggest to broaden your view. Especially in the English speaking area there are a lot of talents that cover different tastes of humour.

I have a preference for the dark side of humor and oddball kind of humor. Mostly for the kind that plays on words, misconceptions, stereotypes. In short, I guess, everything that is funny in some off kilter, questionable or inappropriate way.

Another way of putting it, stuff that is relevant and you can recognize the point of reference, oftentimes that means that you and the performers share the frame of reference, cultural, social, etc.

I've noticed that most new 'talents' fail to produce jokes or other material that lives up to those expectations. Mostly they gravitate toward flat, pointless, forced, bland, or just too weird. They fail to grasp any of the points I outlined above. What happens is... I'm left wondering where the joke was or was that supposed to be funny? I don't think that is how humor is supposed to work.

The I suggest Jimmy Carr, Bill Burr, Loius CK, Ricky Gervais and Jim Jefferies.

And that are well known comedians. A less known comedian in that area is Steve Hofstetter.

Think I recognize the names, not much else, but thanks. I don't usually watch stand-up comedy at all. I tend to prefer comedy series or sketch shows.

A very accurate description.

How did I destroy the joke and what has this to do with the text you quoted?

It looks like quite a few people considered the joke to be funny.
