I don't see what's wrong with that. WG prefers docile new players who click on ze big red purchase button under fancy cosmetic ship over a veteran playbase who endlessly complain about MM and game imbalance.

I saw a new player (three person) division in battle yesterday. These winners (err, wieners) had 40, 43 & '34'% WRs. 

You don't need to guess what side lost (though to be fair to them, this wasn't all that was suspect about that battle).

As I remember North Carolina or Bismarck was my first t8 bb. And I believe I had Edinburgh as my sole t8 at that time. Boy I'm glad I grinded it out instead opting for the whale-approach.

I can't even begin to understand how frustrating is has to be sitting on your shinning gamer-rig and just getting obliterated whilst faffing around trying to understand mechanics.

In Beta I didn't even dare to play my yubari, that I purchased to get access to the Beta, before grinding to T4. T4 was high tier and scary for me back then.

No, it is not. It may be on life support but it's not quite dead yet. Absolutely no Subs &, if you are fortunate, few to no horrid reworked CVs either (I admit, I want RTS CVs back). Plus, it's full of 'historical' ships.

Ha. My first game in Yubari in Beta Randoms was so awesome! Drove right through the reds, burnt down the CV. It was an epic miracle of luck.

My second game, and the next 5,000? Not so much.

Shhhh, captain - we still fraudulently advertise her as a mighty AA cruiser... which translates into: "Occasionally, you might shoot down a plane or two (if you use DefAA and have mounted/skilled every possible AA perk)".
