And “ happy” to find out it required around 25k doubloons. Something far from the amount I was willing to pay. If you want Schlieffen you'll be able to get her without paying a penny in a few weeks. So what if a few people with deep pockets get a tech tree ship a little while before you? This way WG gets to make a packet off people with a high time preference without impacting game balance. Can you imagine what kind of premium monster they'd come up with if they had to sell one of those for 40 kdoub? I think this is a much better arrangement. Of course it will reach high price as it is a German ship, and not any ship but T10 of one of the mostly requested lines in the game, BCs.
