So I will make it short. I am not mad or upset with WG, just the fact surrounding it. TLDR: after the COVID Pandemic, I got my opportunity to move to America to study and become a paramedic. After getting here. Settled, and starting local university, I realized I my WoWs account was EU and that PING might be an issue but I was not worried I had faith in WG. After many tickets it saddens me that for reasons..... I am not able to transfer my account to NA where I live can provide documentation, or anything. It saddens me that I have to wait till the next(if we have one) mass transfer comes along. I just thought because I moved, They could accept the documents I wished to provide and change me over to NA. but looks like I shall be Grinding a NA account or suffering through the ping. ONCE AGAIN, NO disrespect to WG but I wish there was something that could be done...

Yeah.. customer friendliness is an area where WG has room for improvement. We had one of those mass transfer windows in the summer, I think. Does anyone have a rough idea how often those migrations happen?

As a separate consideration, though, you should use this time to get familiar with the NA community and playerbase, specifically how many active players there are and so on. Before committing to full transfer, I mean.

I have an alt account on the Asia server, the ping is about 170, I could work it down to about 130 if I wanted to. In contrast, my EU ping is roughly 30-40, typically. I can tell you that 170ish ping gives you some issues with torps, guns and accuracy but remains overall playable, whereas when the ping surges closes to 300, these issues will become markedly worse and will have a real impact on your game performance.

An additional downside is, that I play very little, so trying to play on two servers makes it pretty hard to collect any containers or do missions.

My ping is at most 100 at the moment because of good internet. However I still wish they would give me 1 transfer chance :(

If you are willing to invest in a good VPN, you might shave a bit off that ping by hooking up with a VPN connection near the EU servers. Are they in Luxembourg or somewhere near there?

Have you considered manually selecting your DNS? I'm not sure if it helps with the ping, but it doesn't cost you anything.

I don't really think ping will be an issue. I was playing on the EU server from SEA and rarely had any issues with pings.

But seriously. Just asking for a one time transfer! Not to go back and forth?

Well you can always wait and pray that WG does that mass migration thing again. I can't remember why they did that the last time around, but I doubt they'll do it anytime soon.

That's where the faith falls...

Can we try to stay on topic please, I love the amazing MEMES, but I don't want WG closing this thread because it goes off topic. This may seem small to some, but is a huge hinderance to me.

How much difference do you see in game play? Is it something you notice outright, or some kind of a 'sticky' feeling that you sense when playing?

My Current ISP here in the USA was a mess at first and nothing worked. However I still get stuttering and spikes. My ping throughout the game ranges from 50-220(just by looking) and is constantly changing. Sometimes shots I took were synced on my side then ships RUBBERBAND and I wiff by 2KM.

Maybe a Wargaming Admin or Moderator could comment. I mean I could provide College transcripts showing I DID move. I have everything to give them a reason to let me have this 1 time change....

Even if you do, it is extremely unlikely they will do so,  since there is no reason or benefit to them doing that (unless they want to generate good PR). Again, in the last 6 years it only happened once?

In any case, you can try tagging a WG staff and see what they say. Don't bother with the mods since they're volunteers moderating the forum and don't deal with this kind of things (your request).

Interestingly, do they have to do all this manually when they offer the migration? Or is there some script they have available then that completes the region transfer.
